1) If you are in a family that did not organize groups for this event, be sure to get on #main in lounge and ask if anyone wants to group up.  There is a noticeable difference in how well you do when you try to lone wolf it versus working with a group.

2) If you've never done a VDay event before, speak with your sponsor/upper so that they can get you paired up with someone to shadow for a bit to learn the ropes.  If they are not approachable, be sure to get on #main in lounge and ask if someone can lend a hand.

3) To ensure a fair VDay, brand new accounts typically can not instantly just hop in and compete without being Gangster and having done enough petties for a gun. if your account is not old enough to participate, send Squishy a mail with the subject of "VET (put your name here) AND AGE ME FOR VDAY". If there is free time, a clear previous account history, 0 admin wacks and do not use VPNs/Proxies, I *may* be able to vet your account and possibly get your account's start date modified so that you may be able to play before the 24h gangster criteria (You, however, will still have to do the petties to obtain a gun). 

4) The channel #vday on lounge has live data showing the progress of the event.

5) Don't forget to run Travel/Attack/Jail perks if you have them!

6) If you nuked your little red box at the top of your screen that gives you the VDay info, go to https://mafiareturns.com/potato.php to toggle it back on.
