Marston wakes up to the sound of his alarm, groggy eyed he heads to the bathroom to get ready. Teeth clean, beard trimmed and showered, he heads to his large wardrobe to put on his newest suit. He slips on the pants, but when it comes to doing up the zip and button he struggles.

"What in god's name... How much did I eat last night! Now where's my old suit... That one had a bit of slack in it..."

He slides a few coat hangers aside and finds his old suit, which luckily has enough room for him, but is now a snug fit.

Relieved and now sharply dressed, he heads out of his apartment for the short walk to his workplace. Outside, he passes a couple of his neighbours... "At least I'm not the only one that's packed on a few pounds!" he thinks to himself as he greets Jordan and Officer Willie as they waddle past. He heads outside still chuckling to himself and gets a brisk pace on for the walk ahead, but is soon nearly knocked to the kerb by a very apologetic fat man that couldn't get out of the way quick enough.

He reaches the main road where he works, a bustling street, filled with coffee shops and other businesses. He turns the corner and is shocked by the gruesome scene in front of him… Men too fat to get out of taxi doors, women almost naked due to the buttons bursting from their clothes, and rips forming from top to toe, four men in a car so heavy it has grounded out in the middle of the street! He hears shouts for help and sees a huge man he didn't recognise stuck in a coffee shop doorway. It is his old associate... Big_Sam, behind him are 30 fat men, women and children desperately trying to push him free. Marston heads over to help but before he reaches him a loud suction pop is heard and Big Sam is flung several metres from the building followed by a stampede of tubby people with ill-fitting clothes...

"WHAT… THE… FUCK!!!" he shouts as he tries to wake himself from what seems like a bad dream and heads over to help Sam.

"Help... Us..." Splutters the hideous mess on the floor.
"You have the power Marston... You hold the key..."
"What power! I'm no magician... I can't make people skinny again, I AM NOT GOD!!
The fat man dribbles a little as he chuckles at Marston's words...
"No you idiot! The key to your store, it's in your pocket... WE NEED CLOTHES THAT FIT!!"

Marston takes off his tie and looks at the apocalyptic scene in front of him...

"You're right Sam, I am these people's only hope... I CAN DEFEAT THIS!!!"

He takes the tie and tightens it around his head like a bandana, then inspects his fists before reaching into his pocket. He recoils his hand from his pocket thrusting it into the air releasing thousands of pieces of card that flutter down to the ground like blossoms from a tree. Then he heads into his workshop... Ready for battle!

Clarity came strutting up in her newly made suit. She did a slight turn and put her hand on her hip before giving everyone a cute wink.

Sprucing up her hair a bit she gave everyone a smile.

"You can't help but look this good in a suit made by Marston! I'm quite the picky lady, but he stuck it out and made me this fantastic looking outfit."

Turning around for all to see the whole suit she then wiggled her hips to be silly.

"I suggest visiting him right away! I have to say many around these streets need some sprucing up! Doesn't hurt to look hot, does it?"

Sam tried his best to regain his composure after the push and pull chaos of getting him out of the constriction. As he stood there adjusting his crumpled suit he realized that it wasn't just him that was wider. Everyone was. It was as if the entire world had bulked up and it was showing. Tugging at his suit jacket he realized it was never going to close again. It was a sad day as Sam had loved this suit. Cocking his head, he decided there was always too much magnificence to fit into such a small frame anyway.

Time for a new chapter!

Walking over to Marston Sam smiled, admiring his sharply dressed friend. Marston was always right on the pulse when it came to fashion and it was no surprise that he had already adjusted to the new, bulked out look everyone had. He had a new suit and was rocking it well.

John, looking good man. I knew you'd be the first to adjust. Now you know me, as well as anyone. You know someone with my social magnitude can not be walking around tugging tight suits around my huge frame. I need new clothes my friend. I need the kind of style and tailoring only you can deliver. Can you deliver?

Marston smirked at Sam.

"You really need to ask Sam?"

No, not really.

Putting a couple of suggestions for style and his new measurements on a piece of paper, he handed it to Marston.

Give me a shout when you're done. You know the routine, if it's as breathtaking as I need it to be, you'll get double. Same as always.

Coco turns looking at her reflection in the full length mirror. She had been gazing into it at her reflection for well over an hour now, and Marston was starting to struggle to hold it up. She knew Marston was waiting for the verdict, so she stopped admiring herself and turned to look at him.

It's gorgeous! Just perfect I tell you, you have such a wonderful eye for detail. Everyone should come visit you and get a new suit done, you are so in fashion right now... they would be stupid not to!

With one more glance at the mirror, Coco turns and leaves Marston's shop with a happy smile and a slightly lighter purse.

Marston approaches the scruffy looking gentleman and brandishes his tape measure...

"Oh darling, we need to get you out of those appalling clothes!"

He takes a number of rapid measurements, then takes a good stare at his customer while thoughtfully tapping his foot...

"Wait right there, I think I have just the thing!"

He heads inside his workshop, and after a short while and an assortment of strange machinery noises he emerges with a suit...

Skorpeon walks in with a pile of suits in his arms and he throws them down on the counter

"Hey Marston, I was wondering how good you are with embroidery? Could you sew a crest onto these so that everyone in town knows these guys work for me?"

Skorpeon walks around awaiting a repky

Marston looks the battle worn man up and down, and tries to imagine a crest to improve the suit he is wearing...

Leave it with me sir, I'll have you and your men looking like a professional outfit in no time at all!

He lifts the pile of suits from the counter and takes them to the back of his shop to get to work...

Kurtz had been reading many old journals. His fathers most of all. As he walked down the street in his father's old suit, several people approached him to speak about his father and his exploits. As much as the warm reception was welcome, Kurtz couldn't help but feel uncomfortable in his father's clothes. He was larger framed than his father and the old suit, for all it's exceptional tailoring, was never going to fit him properly. Looking through a list of contacts he had been given by old friends of the family, he found Marston's name and knew he must renew the old acquaintance.

After some time he came upon Marston's shop and walked inside. Marston was behind the counter, tape measure in hand, studying a complicated pattern. He looked up at Kurtz and raised an eyebrow of recognition at the suit he wore. Kurtz introduced himself.

You look familiar from the old photos I have seen in my father's journal. You must be the son of his old friend. You might also recognise this exceptional tailoring, it was a suit your father was particularly proud of.

Kurtz did a little twirl.

Anyway, as you can see, I'm a bit larger than my old man was. I could do with this suit being adjusted to fit me properly. I know he would have wanted me to use this family suit so I come to the son of the man that made it. Can you help me out?

Marston appears from his workshop with a large parcel of suits, each newly adorned with matching crests. He hands the parcel over to his runner who heads off into the street to deliver them...

Marston listens to the predicament that Kurtz is in, and remembers the old family warehouse where his forefathers kept a vast collection of spare material, prototype clothing ideas and duplicates of old suits they had made...

"My good man, I can assure you that task will be no trouble at all!"

He takes a good look at the fabric, and gently rubs it between his forefinger and thumb, before rushing out of the door...

MeyerLanksy walks into The Damned where he quickly spots Marston....

I got your message back at the office. I brought the suits with me that message said you'll tailor. I have been eagerly waitng to get these suit custom fitted. JackPepper been wearing his suit you tailored for him out in Los Angeles, it's been making the one got from Schwartz Brothers put to shame. Let me know when I should stop by just to check on the fittings and final touches. I can't wait to see new suits fit.

MeyerLanksy places suits on counter and firmly shakes Marston hand....

Kurtz scatches his head in confusion as he sees Marston flying off down the street on horseback. He takes a short stroll around the shop floor while he is waiting and watches as a man with apparent poor eyesight mistakes a manikin for the shop owner! He chuckles as the man places an order before scurrying away into the busy street. He isn't alone for long as he hears the sound of hooves growing louder and louder and sure enough, a moment later Marston bursts back into the shop with an intense sense of drama. Kurtz was taken aback but smiled.

Hello again! There was a gentleman here a moment ago, he seemed to place an order with that manikin over there and claimed you knew what was required. He shot out of the door in a fierce hurry, I didn't get chance to explain. Anyway...

Kurtz watched as Marston assessed the clothing left on the counter, quickly scribble a note and place it on the pile. He then opened a large saddle-bag and unfurled an expanse of dark fabric across the counter. Waving a hand in his direction, Kurtz approached the counter and removed his jacket. Marston looked down at his pants. Kurtz looked down and back at Marston who then pointed at a cloak room in the back. Kurtz removed his pants and strode with confident ease into the back room to wait.

He had hardly had time to finish his cigar and a second large brandy before Marston appeared holding his adjusted suit. Kurtz put down his copy of the New Scientist and stood up, taking the suit, he slipped it on and it fit like a glove. He turned in the mirror to admire the fine cut.

Marston. Sir, the reputation is justified, you are a master of your craft. I will be calling here again for all my future needs. A gent likes a suit for various moods and occasions as I'm sure you understand. Many thanks my friend, many thanks.

Reaching for his wallet Kurtz drew a huge wedge of bills and presented Marston with far more than would be required for the adjustments. With a friendly handshake he took one more glance in the mirror before heading out of the store into the well fitting street.

Marston tips his hat to Kurtz as he takes his leave, then sets straight back to work on the business left by Mr Lanksy. He heads into the backroom where the magic happens, and after a few hours he emerges with a suit for his latest customer...

He takes the suit over to his runner, who heads off into the street to deliver it, then resumes his position behind the counter awaiting the next customer that requires his talents...

"Wait right here sir, I think I have just the thing..."

He heads backstage into his mysterious workshop, and finally emerges holding an immaculate suit for his customer.

"I think you will be happy with the job I have done, if you have any sizing issues or minor adjustments I will see to them at no extra cost!"

As the happy customer leaves the store, Marston puts the cash exchanged into the till and waits his next customer...

Walking towards Marstons fine tailor shop Jared noticed a familiar face in Magneto. Walking out of the business with his new suit finely tailor he stopped to have a smoke and quick conversation.

That is quality right there Mr. Magento, I am on my way myself to have a chat with Mr. Marston to see if he might be able to qhip something new up for myself as well. Always good to see you around Mr. Magneto you take care of yourself.

Opening the front door of the shop he walks in and is astonished by all of the portraits on the walls. Each and every single customer has this shit eating grin on there face like they had just won the lottery. Knowing that is might be something Jared would soon get to take part in he turned to Marston at the register and approached him.

Good day Mr. Marston, I am Jared and I have made my way from the Big Apple to come visit your wonderful establishment you have set up here on the west coast. I am looking for that one of a kind touch that only you can put on a mafiosos suit. I am up for a fresh and new idea when it comes to the suit. Seeing as how you Californians are pretty laid back compared to where I come from.

I know your a busy man so I will leave the cash with you and return aftre I get my much anticipated walk down HollyWood Bvld. Thank you for your time as it is always appreciated.

Jared proceeds to pull out a couple large wads of cash banded together with his signiture money clip and leave Marston with his payment. Then proceeds to the front door to take his leave while the great tailor works his magic.

Marston says farewell to his customer and heads straight to the workshop... It's been a long day, but Marston is happy with the amount of business he has received and is soon finished making his latest masterpiece...

He hands the suit over to his runner who is looking worn, but heads off into the street to deliver it as motivated as ever, as he is paid more than fairly for the work he does for Mr Marston. Marston then heads back to his counter, satisfied with another job done!

Cassi's driver pulled up in front of Marston's shop, then stepped around to open her door. She took his hand as she stepped out of the car, a smile on her face as she looked up at the building. She had seen many of Marston's creations walking the streets and she knew she was in need of something that only Marston could create.

Stepping inside she felt at home instantly, the atmosphere in the store being just as she expected it to be. She walked up to the counter and her smile brightened as she saw her dear friend standing behind it. She leaned in and kissed his cheek.

You're looking fabulous today my dear. I was wondering if I you might be able to work a little bit of magic for me. I've been in need of a new look for quite some time. I know you're a busy man and I would appreciate if you could help an old friend out.

Cassi reached into her purse, having the money already arranged before she made her way over.
