| Call me crazy but I don't think you are happy, you are here after all complaining about the way the gentleman conducts his own business, but nevermind, we can just leave it at that. The difference between a clan, gang and a family is minimal I agree, something to do with Sicily and the mafia or something, no biggy, don't worry yourself on the distinction. | |

A definition of clan for you: A group of people of common descent; family: Our whole clan got together for Thanksgiving. In some cultures clan is the same as family. So don't go correcting people when you'e wrong yourself. As for minimal difference with a family and clan as compared to a gang. It's more than minimal. I've said my peace. |

If you were getting at a point Demeter by me saying peace, remember in that definition you gave it can be a farewell or greeting. To Denny. You're a fool to try and be wise about an example. " I dont think so. now try but no cigar. you dont want to be in the line of fire, pick another line of work. when you are in a family/clan/gang/woteva... you are in direct line of fire with anyone who is in a state of strife with your homies. Instead of raging against the person who killed you (who really has no reason to care about your well being), you might want to think about pointing the finger at the person from your OWN CLAN who should always be thinking of the well being of the whole clan. They are the one who started the whole process that ended up with your predecessor being fish food. |

| McManus, not many people try to insult me, I don't know why this is, perhaps because I only talk sense, or maybe it has something to do with not socialising with rude people, so I wont be talking to you again. Mu point was quite simple, the mafia is based on the idea of the family, not the clan and not the gang. If you want to be in a gang, sport some large tattoo's in stereotypical places and genre's, run around with a pillowcase over your head pretending to be a ghost if you want to be in a clan, but if you want to be in the mafia, call it a family. | |
