Its evening in Philly, and everyone is beginning to wind down from a long day. Many people take this opportunity to switch on their radios and tune into the local radio stations for news, music, and programs. Tonight, however, a new radio station is hitting the Philly airwaves. WPMR, Philly's Mob Radio, is airing its first broadcast tonight, the Cosa Nostra Radio Hour, hosted by Philly's own Gianna DeLuca.

Johnny sits down next to the radio, and slowly sways with the music. Wishing he had a fine lass to dance with. The catchy tunes keeping him mesmerized

I must say this new radio hour is something. I can't wait for the next hour.

Johnny snapping his fingers and still swaying turns the radio off and heads off to his daily activities. Thinking to himself what a better day today is, the music still playing in his head

PJ is major busy these days and his work never stops. After landing in Philly on business he finally gets an hour to himself. On entering his hotel room he hangs up his coat, makes his way over the the table and turns the radio on. He then takes a seat and crosses his legs. A smile reaches his lips as he hears the new sound of Cosa Nostra Radio Hour and is actually quite impressed. He then speaks out loud to no one in particular.

This is actually a damned fine radio show. I must remember to tune in to this when ever I am in Philly.

He then begins to tap his feet and nod along to the beautiful sounds of Fred Astaire

I have to agree with Mr. PoisonousJelly, I wasn't really expecting much and it was a pleasant delight.

(OOC: It captures the time extremely well and was fantastically put together, it really feels like a radio show from the 1920's and is a nice change of pace)

As he's about to walk into the post office Dante begins to draw his gun, however his attention is drawn to the sounds on the airwaves coming from the cafe next door. Rather than robbing the post office as intended he walks into the cafe, orders a coffee and finds a chair by the window. He proceeds to sit and watch the world go by while listening to the relaxing sounds. As the waitress comes over with his coffee he turns to her

Is this show new?

The waitress smiles and informs him that it's Cosa Nostra Radio Hour and departs. Dante makes a note of the time and is already beginning to make plans to be in Philly for the next broadcast

Sweeney sitting down at the table of the New York HQ working on his next piece of work. He takes a cig out and set back in his chair. Turns on the radio that's just above him on the bookshelf. He leans back and lights the cigarette. Listens to an old radio station that was staticly. He gets up and turns the nob a bit and hears the sound of the Cosa Nostra. Listening to the music and the new of the underground he is please to hear this. Pulls out Mr. Albert and sets him up at the table. He begins to eat the food on the table board. Leaning back down during the music, he works and counts his next tribute."Can't wait for this next week" He thinks to himself during the program.

ItGirl walks to the radio station and asks to speak with a spokesperson or Miss Deluca herself

When a spokesperson approaches ItGirl begins

"Very good show got to love the music choices as well. I hope this radio station keeps going "

ItGirl then notices Gianna_DeLuca she cant help but shout out to her

"Miss DeLuca great job and congradulations on an awesome show"

ItGirl then waves, smiles, and winks before leaving the building and getting in a cab as to not miss her flight back to new york

Satine had heard about a new radio show as she was about her business in the city. When she arrived at her hotel, she stripped down to her slip, poured the sauce and lit a cigarrette. Once she had herself settled for a quiet night, she turned the dial to the new station, just in time to hear Cab Calloway. She thinks to herself "Ahh Cab Calloway- I remember seeing him at the Cotton Club in New York" as she slips back into her heels. As the music plays on she begins dancing and singing around the room, careful not to spill her drink.  "They took her where they put the crazies. Now poor Min's kicking up those daisies. You've heard my story this is her song. She was just a good gal, but they done her wrong! Hi de hi de hi de hi ho!"...

Desmond stumbles into his apartment and accidentally knocks the radio off the endtable, turning it on.

Aw, hell...wait a minute...this is great!

Corbin drops down in a chair after coming home after a long day at the HQ. He rests his feet on the table and opens a bottle of beer.
Just another one of these days. Feeling completely exhausted he turns on the radio. The sounds of trumpets fill the air and then a familiar voice starts to talk.

"Djees! That's Gianna! She is hosting her own radio show now!?"

Listening in disbelieve he gets himself another beer and smiles.

"Awesome show! Can't wait for the next!"

Entranced Sam was glued to the radio. Fingers clicking and wing tips tapping, he slid around the room with a rhythmic shuffle. The music stirring his over exercised loins. Oh to be so alive at such a fine time. He felt exhilarated, filled up and flowing with all the hip swinging magic a colossus like him could wish for. The news of New York's blossoming skyline filled his heart with pride in his city and he felt compelled to move.

Heading down to the radio station he found the sumptuous Ms DeLuca and planted a grateful kiss on her hand.

My dear, you have filled my morning with a passion and zeal for the life we're in. I can't thank you enough for the diligent hard work and superb musical selections that had me dancing up and down in my office. I applaud your efforts and hope the station here provides anything you require for further broadcasts. Great work my dear. Great work.

Nicola had been sat in her small flat, idley flitting through radio station after radio station, daydreaming about all the possibilities tomorrow could bring, when a sudden familiar voice snapped her out of her thoughts.

Why, that's Gianna!

she had exclaimed out loud to the empty flat, a mixture of shock and amusement; what was Gianna doing on the radio? Settling down more comfortably on the worn armchair by the radio, she began to listen intently to the broadcast. As the sounds of familiar music filled the room, she found her foot moving to the rhythms as she hummed along. When the broadcast came to an end, she made note to tell Gianna that her radio debut had been spectacular.

1. Each one-hour show is based on a standard, 15 minute rotation clock. 
There are five points in the hour at which advertisments may be aired, and 12 total slots for sponsorship during a one hour show.

0: All Sponsors mentioned

15: One minute of program sponsor ads (4 slots, 15 seconds each)

30: 30 seconds of sponsors (2 slots, 15 seconds each)

45: One minute of sponsors (4 slots, 15 seconds each)

59: All sponsors mentioned at end of show.

2. Sponsorship Levels:

Level I: One 15 second slot- $150,000

Level II: Two 15 second slots, one per half hour- $250,000

Level III: Four 15 second slots, one per break- $300,000

In-Name Sponsorship: $500,000
For These sponsors, the Cosa Nostra Radio Hour will become the "Insert Sponsors Name/Business" Radio Hour.  This sponsor will be mentioned during every break and advertised in the days before the show.

WPMR EXPANDING TO ALL SEVEN MAJOR CITIES

Philadelphia- Local radio station WPMR made a major announcement this week.  Due to the wild popularity of the Cosa Nostra Radio Hour, station executives made the decision to expand its operations into all of the major cities.  The station will now broadcast from Philly, but because it will serve several metro areas, the station has changed its name and call sign.  The newly named Cosa Nostra Radio Network is set to air on Saturday night at 10 p.m., EST, and will now broadcast under the call letters WCNR. Hosted by none other than Ms. Gianna DeLuca, the first broadcast will be The Careless Whisper Radio Hour, sponsored by the Careless Whisper Lounge and Grill in New York City.  Miss DeLuca, who was recently involved in a scandal and thought to be dead, is very excited about this new move for the station.

"This is huge- not only for Philly, but for all the cities.  The radio industry is really hitting its stride, and is making it possible for people everywhere to get news and entertainment.  The Cosa Nostra Radio Network will be at the forefront of radio broadcasting."

WCNR also announced this week the opportunity for advertising on the show.  Everyone from private individuals to businesses and even families now have the opportunity to advertise their interests on the Cosa Nostra Radio Network.  Shortly after publishing a brochure with sponsorship levels, WCNR was approached with quite a few interested parties.  Gianna hopes that their debut tonight will encourage others to explore advertisement options.

"It takes a lot of hard work to run the network, and we are hoping that we can ease that burden while giving local businesses and families a chance to advertise with us!"

Its Saturday night, and radios across the cities are switched on and tuned in for the much-anticipated broadcast from the Cosa Nostra Radio Network. There is a bit of static at first, followed by the familiar sound of the big-band introduction music. Turn up the volume, everyone, here is the Careless Whisper Radio Hour on WCNR!

Settling down at his desk to catch up with some paperwork Santino Marciano decides to turn on the Radio Receiver to relieve the boredom.

Turning on his A.H.Grebe & Co. Synchrophase and allowing it to warm up he's a little annoyed that the cleaner seems to have disturbed the damn tuning dial again. She's very good but there's clean and there's 'clean', right?

After fiddling with the dial a broadcast begins to come through, not the usual channel he listens to but something entirely new.

This is GiannaDeLuca bringing you the Cosa Nostra radio hour announces the silky smooth voice and within no time at all Cab Calloway's Minnie the Moocher begins to resonate around the office.

With the cleaner completely forgive, Santino settles down to an hour of hard work and wonderful entertainment.
