May I have your attention, please? On behalf of The Duchess’s Estate, since some think apologies are needed, IApologize would like to clear the air for her next of kin. From the desk of our dearly departed Duchess.
Now let her kin be. |

No, Uncle @Joe_Ligambi. It wasn't a problem at all. Maybe you should try, and maybe your kin will stop dying. |

| I have nothing to apologize for. I haven't wronged anyone. Let he who is without sin cast the first stone. For I have only done what is needed in order to protect my family and friends from the monsters that dwell under our beds. | |

While out skipping stones across the river, Fruity heard a voice sharing an apology. She thinks to herself what a grand idea to open up a confessional booth out in the wilderness. Afterall, this is Gods creation. Having been raised in a Irish/Italian Catholic family she had a confession and apology to offer as well. When I was a little girl I spent many hours peeping in kitchen windows. If they had a fruit bowl, I climbed through the window and robbed them of all of their fruit. I would take the fruit down to my secluded hideaway at the river and skip stones while enjoying my stolen fruit. One day the po po came up behind me and said "Lets go fruity pebbles." I am busted and hauled off to juvie. From this day forward I could not shake nor escape the nickname fruity pebbles. It has haunted me all my life. I hope this satisfies the anonymous individual who lashed out asking me what kind of mafiosa name is fruity pebbles. I'm told everyone gets those dag gone annoyingly anonymous notes. Either way I apologize. Today I still steal items of more value. Please forgive me. |

Joe_Ligambi the idea of "let he who is without sin cast the first stone" doesn't mean there shouldn't be accountability. It’s more about approaching judgment with humility and awareness of our own flaws. You use the saying as a shield to deflect criticism rather than a genuine call for compassion or introspection. Instead of owning up to your kin’s mistakes, you use it to avoid accountability by implying that no one has the right to judge. You shift the focus from the actual issue to a vague sense of universal guilt. "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone" is your excuse to ignore the serious wrongdoings of you and your kin. (of course, you think there are none, so let's not go there OK) I don’t think the apology was directed at you, but if you accept it, it's all good. Duchess wouldn't care if you kept being you and your kin kept dying. It was just food for thought. |
