As I stand here in this moment, nobody has requested the witness statement for the murder of my father, Scooter. 

My father was a hard working member of this shambolic community. 

He filled his days gaining as much experience as he could in this line of work. He had been giving permission to carry 40 pounds of drugs from the local police. Quite the achievement, achieved at a very young age too. 

He kept himself to himself, stayed in his lane. Spent the majority of his time, visiting various businesses, run by other members of this community. Admittedly, he did not earn a lot but what he did, a percentage was kicked up to his Crew Leader - the spineless Jimmy. 

When I approached Jimmy to gain some clarity on my fathers murder, his exact words were "We think there is another rogue". Later in the conversation, Jimmy admitted that he was the one who shot my father, blaming a false report that he had given protection to a rogue. An absolute idiot who can't even keep his lies in check. 

So the real reason must be that the amount of publications my father had produced, about local business etc. was the reason he was persecuted. In a world where the publications are at an all time low. Stories are not told like they used to be. Businesses are not opened like they used to be. 

I'd argue that being the man at the "top of the leaderboard" so to speak, in regards to this, is a death sentence. One arm of this world of ours, torn off at the seams. A real shame and no doubt, the beginning of the end. 

Krun listens to the man speak and can relate to his words much more than most, his father, LordVoldemort, slain in cold blood.

Sir, I must agree with you here, late last night, my great father, the previous leader of all publications in this entire world, LordVoldemort was slain in cold blood, the cause unknown, the story the same, maybe it was Ranger, but, my father knows the truth, his eyes were to strong, his words spread to far. He was a loyal man, one who listened, one who followed his orders, one who was forced back to Los Angeles from one of his many charades in the other cities being a food critique, just to be murdered and have fingers pointed at him for being the wrongdoer. I ask, when will this end, when will us writers stop being murdered in cold blood for nothing other than wanting to liven up these cold boring streets and businesses? 

Krun, I am sorry for your loss also. My father only took up the title of "leader of all publications" after your father sadly passed. 

I can't help but feel they were both persecuted for being active in this line of work. A dying trade in these parts, one that is meant to be crucial and key to all that happens here. 

Thank you for your kind words Carlo. My father was a lonely man, all he had were the publications about all the places he had visited in his life, all the adventures he had gone on. He left me basically nothing but his knowledge, sixteen dollars, and a notebook full of all the places not to eat from the business districts in each city. Your father was also a great man, He was mentioned many times in these publications as someone who could take over his mantle if the unthinkable happened. 

These deaths will be remembered forever in the history books, Even if that means we have to write the history books ourselves.

As a man not yet having the wherewithal to push 40 units of anything, you have my sympathy. I struggle along gamely, trying my best to fight through the stray bullets aimed at Chicago LHM to reach such dizzying heights, but at the moment they continue to elude me. Woe is FatGrin. Rotund and lacking the respect of local FBN agent Jim Howe to carry more than 37. A terrible curse. 

Rising to the top of the VIP power rankings is a commendable achievement. I, myself, recently occupied the top position for a number of days before I was recently supplanted by Krun's late father, LordVoldemort, your late father, Scooter, and now, that honking peddler QuackersFeatherbeak and even Father_OMalley as well have left me panting piggishly in their wake.

Your losses have been somewhat my gain as I have managed to cling onto the #3 position, narrowly ahead of Waffleboy. Given the fate of my two predecessors in pole position, perhaps I should even be thanking you both for sparing me the risk of getting a folding chair across the back of the head. I guess I will have to look cautiously over my shoulder in case I too fall victim to the assassins of the speakers. 

Hopefully they just kill QuackersFeatherbeak though and leave me alone. My condolences, gentlemen. 

FatGrin you were one of the reasons my father became the man he was, seeing your publications, reading what you wrote. It all inspired him to be a better more astute man. I will pray that you survive the assassin's of the writers and continue to strive to one day reach that prestigious number 40. I. As son of the late Voldemort will study his work, and surely yours as well, take in everything I can, learn from some of the best, and maybe again one day, I can hold a prestigious position as one of the top 5 writers in the nation.

Stay strong, stay quick.. as quick as you can with a build like that, of course, and continue to dodge those bullets. Reporters are a rare breed. We need to stop the bloodshed here and now.

FatGrin, I appreciate your sympathy and kind words. 

I would urge you to proceed with caution in your endeavours to attain the title of "Head Honcho". 

Writing and reporting in this country is undeniably the most dangerous thing you can do. Although we possess no skill whilst wielding a weapon, we are hunted. They say the pen is mightier than the sword but I fear these morons have taken that far too literally. 

Lads, I'm positively blushing. Your kind words are just the type of camaraderie that these Streets need to flourish again. Who knows, we might even be able to coax a non-mandatory street visit from every district in the country if we play our cards right. I do feel though we must temper our chat with common sense. Being a VIP is a dangerous business, sure. You're probably going to die in days, painfully and with the utmost haste, but the most dangerous thing you can do? Steady now. I think Ranger, BuckBurgerhouse, Sosa, Barber, Nincom (probably?) and SixPoundSoulCals would all disagree. Being a Chicago LHM is factually the most dangerous thing you can do. Lets leave the hyperbole to the journos. 

While I generally have a great amount of doubt and aspersions to cast upon FatGrin's morals, theology and geometry, and in fact, upon his darkened soul, and the jurisdiction and capacity to do so from my position as #1 VIP, and also find the bum-slapping camraderie being displayed here among natural rivals vaguely stomach-turning, I must also admit that I have been extremely brave and courageous in writing, investigating and publishing the stories contained within The Duck's Bill Issues 1 and 1.5.

QuackersFeatherbeak, I concur that you have infact been enormously brave. The courage shown in your publications is something that can only be admired. In the face of certain death you continue to publish and that should only be commended. 

I will be very sad to see your obituary which will be in the next 3 days if history has taught us anything. 

Some people here may know that my father Scooter (who was shot due to false information (that they discovered was false immediately after shooting him)) had a father called torn. Now, my grandfather, torn, was shot for "being in the same place as a rogue that popped up on two occasions". Despite being in a completely different location for one of the occasions. 

The incompetence of these idiots means that they are unable to count to two, or read a location.
