I am looking at the here and now. It's nothing short of being barbaric. Even those perceived as trusted ones (placeholders so to speak) on down the chain their days are numbered. It is particularly easy to spot on various auths. The squad knows who will run to them. But that is played out.

FruityPebbles knew what she was getting into when she joined Joseph because he had no idea he was slated to die so Joe Ligambi can set up. This is the type of mentality going on. But nevertheless, I played my part as taught through out the years. Sure enough out of the blue for no reason whatsoever JTG shot Fruity. Purged. With that said the chain of command no longer exists amongst this lot. 

They take on players. Gladly accept their donations and use them for any of their needs. Then kill them or have them killed for absolutely no reason whatsoever. When a "Free Thinker" surfaces because they are sick and tired of their barbaric ways what do they do? They commence to purging instead of protecting their crew members. They want their crew member to think the free thinker killed them. That is played out too.

There is nothing left but to simply look at them from the outside. They house many IA's. The ones on the job boards are the CL and hands. Promotions to made are rare. And imagine authing someone and telling them who their RH had to be. 

There is only one fix for this lot. 

PS Also in their barbaric world there is no such thing as a new player. They are slated to die because no such thing as new. And we know there is nothing further from the truth. That totally blows.

You have made no suggestions that are subjective. You've used it a piece to rant on. You've added absolutely zero value to the original post and questions that izzy has asked.

While there might be a sniff of some validity in there, all you have done is undone it by not being able to remove yourself from your grudges and add anything in a constructive and meaningful way. The way you have ranted on, is just bitter. And it comes across as such.  Im not sure how, from what you have said, you'd like izzy to implement a standard? 

All i get from it is, you hate us all and your last account was purged. There is absolutely no value added here. 

Well now spacey the problems have not stepped up. This is not about me. I am one of many examples how barbaric things have become. All else can speak for themselves. Aye

But the point i made, is that by you did make this about you. You used it as another platform for a rant. This was never the intention of the post. Like is aid, there is probably validity in some of the things you're saying, i have never denied them. The issue is how you're going about it. As i said, it was predicted that you wold handle this exactly the way you did.

You always talk about your superior understanding and game play. Izzy is literally giving you a platform to showcase said skill set and what do you do. You go on one of your usual tirades of a personal nature. 

You obviously aspire to be the spokesperson for the "freethinkers" Now is your time to shine, lets see what you are made of. Put your personal beefs aside and do you best to really contribute and start to make a change you'd like to see. 

Without even reading what you have to say why don't you come out here and offer something productive instead of trolling me and being part of the problem.

Firstly, if you have not read what ive said, how can you say im trolling? Secondly, there is absolutely no trolling in anything ive written to you. Im saying to you, that there are some valid points, however you can not be taken seriously because you're unable to look past your personal issues with people. 

You want to be the voice for the opposition, here is your chance. Go be it. But be it correctly. Another self centred novel is not the play here. Izzy has given you a platform, use it, correctly.

Current sides aside, As a community I would think that we could agree that standards seem to be a missing component from the streets. We should strive to have auth threads longer than a paragraph. Before people start going "We were in a rush" as an excuse, perhaps you could rush in a quick story or something that shows just a tad more effort. I suppose this would go along with the job board comments I see frequently, I personally turn off jobs on new characters because I generally know who I will or won't entertain when it comes to being crewed. But I see it along the lines of the lax expectations of our leaders. We have seen much of the same leaders taking on the bold suits, but very little in doing anything different from what was done previously by them.

Along the same lines of standards, I'd like to get away from the hive mentality. Over the years it seems every city wants to share their SRs with every other city. It is a weird idea that everyone knew everyone's shooters. I'd also like to see about not being forced to be taken to anther site to fill out said SRs. Things that are game related should be in game, if people do not want to take the game to every platform outside of it. Not everyone is as keen to take the game outside the game.

Perhaps there are more points in regards to the failing standards that could be addressed, again I don't think the things I have pointed out are strictly one side or another, but as a whole.

As a player this is the one spot that grinds my gears of late. I know I harp on it a lot, but only once in awhile do I get a decent conversation about it.  Always up for a discussion about it.

Remove the 60 second list, crew list location and make jails full of equivalent NPCs.

 +1 Id also take it further to remove account starting date from profile and age/ or have stealth play a factor into it.
