In approximately one to two weeks the following change will be implemented:

If you switch to a new home city (accepting an invite from a crew with a different home city) (CL dies exception listed at bottom*), you have a ramp up period of 12h for the distance to fully go away from your old city to the new city.  If you move again before you ramped up is over, it will remember it, and use the higher of any distance reduction of any wack calculation if you have moved multiple times and have multiple transitions from old city to new city (meaning there is no benefit to hopping cities from different crews to try to find a better distance for your next shot kind of thing).

To make it easier to understand, we are going to use some really stupidly easy numbers.

Lets say wack is 1000, and there is a 50% for PH to LA.  At the start, their wack is 500 in LA, at the end of the 12 hour ramp up period, their wack is 1000, it evenly ramps up. Like, at hour 6, they are half way there, and only have a 25% distance reduction.

Examples: (For ease of math in the examples, lets say 12 flights is 50% distance reduction, 6 hour flights are 25% distance reduction)

If you moved from Philly to LA and then within the 12 hour window from LA to CH, it will compare the math of your Philly to CH target at the time left, vs the LA to CH at the time left, and pick which ever of the two scenarios has the higher nerf.  This removes the advantages of city hopping.

EXEMPTIONS:

*Your crewleader died.  You were not dropped, left or transferred, or any other case other than you no longer having a CL because they died.  There is no transition, you can accept an invite in any city and will not get any new distance related math.
