Jeff woke up and reached over to his nightstand to light the blunt left over from the night before. He was in deep thought about everything moving and some things that were slow motion. The list of things to do probably reach a mile if you laid it out flat, but moving forward was the mission and it had to be done. Jeff had a buddy he grew up with, they were like brothers, close enough they lived the life and have been through it together. The type you don’t always notice but just know. They grew up hustling, and nothing was given or handed to them for free. The streets were a cold place to be, but after a long stretch of making moves the two had a line on something that can double what they do on a daily basis. They had the contact and connections, just needed a place to call home. Therefore the venture continues. With just enough skin in the game to know a few good people, Jeff had a small property handed down from a relative. It was the day he left his home that he would be working to get to this point. Jeff stares off into the distance at a memory that occupied his mind.
“Jeff, JEFF!! Look at me when I'm talking to you” His father says, snapping while Jeff was bouncing the ball. “This is important, now listen.” Jeff pauses and holds the ball while his father speaks, completely locked in to the conversation. “Now when the time comes I have a location for you. It's nothing special, and it will be a good start up, what you do with it is up to you. “ He says as he takes a drag of his cigarette, daps his son and gets back to work.
The last thing his father told him before he left the game. The hustle took him with no thoughts, just at the top of his game. No one knew how it happened, it just happened. Jeff held on to that thought and it motivated him in ways he couldn’t imagine. He latched on to the game and took it in full stride. Jeff knew that you couldn’t trust anyone completely, but everyone had something to give to the hustle and some didn’t, simple structure, but there was always a kink in the mix. Jeff and his buddy Fade meet at the location, they greet each other and head into the location to do a walk through. The layout was basic, a bottom floor, with a few meeting rooms, a top floor with a few bedrooms and office spaces for business. They checked their personal offices and met again in the conference room to talk business. The conference room had a long oval table that stretched across the middle of the room. They take a seat and start to put it together.. |

Jeff sat and lit a blunt, Fade did the same, “So the plan was to build up a good commerce that would not only bring in profit but also to move some down low items through the different cities that we could possibly work with, and to get that, we need uniformity and to be organized.”
Jeff said as he took another drag of his blunt.
“As difficult as that may sound, it is well within reach to accomplish. We just need a nice ring of active participants that is willing to help move this forward.”
Jeff knew that the pickings were slim when it came to this, but he was all in and ready for ideals, requests and opportunities. All they could do is work the work they had. |

Jeff sat in his office with a nice stack of work in front of him. He poured himself a drink. Taking a sip he then lights a blunt, and takes a moment to let it all sink in before he gets into it. A quaint location close to his crew's HQ, Jeff had a stand alone building within all the other businesses where he kept his office. It was like a small one bedroom house. This was where all the magic was created, the energy that pushed this unit non stop. He had his plans ready for a couple of businesses to open up; he just needed to acquire the property. Patience was a difficult trait, but a good one to have, sometimes things moved slow, and sometimes a little too fast to handle. Jeff needed to gather a few hustlers to help with his move to a new place, but nothing was moving for him at the moment. This time patience was his battle.. |
