I did'nt know Cruel very well... but no one deserves something like this. I will pray for him as well!

Human life is so... invaluable, irreplaceable, precious; that instances like these really bring things into perspective. Of the few interactions I had with Cruel, I mistakenly brought a bad disposition to our discussions. Judging by any of these comments, those who knew Mr. Rathbone could attest the unnecessary nature of such dispositions. If nothing else, I truly hope this can bring to light the fact that... Sure, we have our differences, but life is too short to hold the actions, effects, and changes of a game in any weight to affect the way we interact with each other. This game has constructed such a community around it; I hope that no one puts the game before the community (like I did), and regret the way you speak to anyone. Because you simply don't know when something like this could happen.

I don't pray much, but I can assure you Dean is in my thoughts and prayers.

I'm not much of a praying man either but I'll sure start.  Cruel was one of the first people I met here and I'm sure saddened by this news.  Hang in there Dean!!

An update from Deano's cousin said that they haven't heard anything from the doctors so he is still fighting. The doctors should be doing more tests within the next few hours which will last a few hours. As soon as I know anything I'll update you all again. 

Cruel...I know we have only crossed paths a handful of times, and even then we didnt talk much, But this is truely a sad day not just for the family you have here but to the family you have outside of this world. My prayers and heart go out to you and your family Sir, noone deserves to have to go through what your going through right now. I wish you and your family the best Dean and I pray you make it through this.

I've never really crossed paths with Cruel, however for this to happen to anyone is always a tragedy. Prayers aren't something that comes naturally to me, however I will send up what thoughts I can for him, his family and his friends at this time.

This is sad news to hear, I've never spoken to him myself but my thoughts and prayers are with him.

Some good news. Deano has not long moved his hand which is fantastic as it is an indication of brain activity. His family are ecstatic and I'm sure you all will be also.

This is very sad.  I pray he gets better.

Another update people.

Today, Deano has been making some movements and real good progress. He has moved his hand/fingers and clenched his fist. A nurse was brushing his teeth and he was moving his jaw as if he was allowing her to move the toothbrush around or trying to bite down on the toothbrush itself. He has been coughing and also moving his left shoulder as if trying to lift himself up.

His cousin Jonathon asked him if he could make some sort of movement which Deano replied with moving his fingers. Jonathon also asked Deano to open his eyes in which Deano's eyes twitched. This has happened to a few family members throughout the day.

They also have no plans to put him back under sedation as he is doing just fine without it. They did take him off the life support to see if he could breath on his own which he could but was unregular breaths so have put him back on it. The doctors say its good that the lungs are trying to work by themselves.

From a few days when they wanted to switch the life support off up until the day, Deano's progress has been remarkable and shocking. He has been beating the odds that have been stacked heavily against him. The guy is nothing less than a figher.

Please please keep praying, he has still got an epic journey to travel.

That is some amazing news to hear Jammin. I will keep him in my prayers and please keep updating us on his condition.
