It would be better if more people get involved.
Many people will say if intelligence could somehow be filtered but this is besides the point.
People will learn from experience and/or adversity so I say get out here and say something...it's better than nothing. |

We need less people bitching and nit picking. The average person cant be bothered to post on the streets and why should they? When half the replies offer no contribution to posts they just point out spelling or grammar errors or something just as retarded.

Since the response is so overwhelming, I've decided to up the ante. I will now pay $100K to the person whom I believe makes the best, most insightful contribution on this thread (by the end of Monday) and $50K to the second place contributer. Why? Because I feel like it and let's face it, these streets need some help from time to time!

I enjoy seeing competitions in the Streets. It brings people out of hiding to compete for a prize. The better the prize, the more participants you have.
Continue to hold competitions, increase the activity in the Streets. People might be enticed to check out other topics in the Streets if they see topics that sound intriguing.
Everything builds on the other. We have to start somewhere =) |

I vote for good old fashioned parade followed by a street party, with music and dancing, hotdog vendors, beer flowing freely and lots of hot women. We'd need some strong guys to carry a statue of Mary down the street, a priest to do all the religious stuff then some of the bar owners could organise the party and beer and the people who run the restaurants, cookie shops etc in our cities could donate some food.

i'm orignally from Newark NJ, "The Ironbound", every year the feasts were the bright spots in the neighborhood, St. Gennaro's the most fun and remembered for the year. there you go, have a feast for the Saints. Sausage and peppers stands, zeppoles, game and rides. it's good for the people. each crew sponsor the procession of the saint through the street, monies pinned on going to the churchs or hospitals. it's just a thought, so check your Catholic (feasts were fun for all, just threwing it out there about the Catholic angle, not trying to offend any other faiths) holiday calendars, i'm sure you have time to put a feast together in each city.
