Some time had passed since the Ligambi crime family had consolidated it's power and moved back to Detroit. Uncle Joe had been using front bosses and acting bosses to lead the family and insulte himself from prosecution and any potential threats.

Everything had been working well and Uncle Joe was enjoying his free time. He spent time with his immediate family and would scheme about how to advance his other. Uncle Joe had been spending his Tuesdays playing cards at a local coffee shop near one of the family's headquarters. 

It was while playing cards that a messager from the family arrived to give him some bad news. The local law enforcement and mayor had been cracking down on organized crime and whilst doing so picked up his nephew and current front boss Jimmy on some trumped up charges. 

Hearing this news was unsettling for Uncle Joe. He would have to expose himself to law enforcement and other entities as the defacto boss of the family to get things in order. It was business as usual for Uncle Joe again.
