YourNextWife was sitting at home, feeling a bit stir crazy. She glanced outside and saw the sun shining brightly with a gentle breeze rustling the leaves. It looked like it was the perfect time to take her daily stroll. She would usually walk around some of the local businesses and usually ended up supporting the various shops. However, today that just didn't seem appealing to her.

Speaking out loud to herself, she stated, "It's so gorgeous out today. It would be such a waste spending my time in the shops instead of outside on this beautiful day."

She got in her car and started driving around Philly aimlessly until she remembered seeing some really nice houses out in the suburbs. Her car slowly pulled into the parking lot at a local park. She got out of her car and started walking around for a bit and admiring the scenery. While watching a squirrel in a tree, her attention turned towards barking coming from a nearby house. Her eyes shifted towards the sound right towards a house with the absolutely most beautiful home with a perfectly landscaped yard.

Unable to help herself, she walked towards the house in awe. She looked at all the perfectly in bloom flowers. There were so many roses; red, yellow, white, and pink. Several bushes of hydrangeas and lilacs too. There were patches of tulips and daisies. Looking around, she realized that she didn't even know the names of half of the flowers.

Still taking in all of the beauty, she heard the barking again that originally drew her attention to this house. Suddenly, she watched as two adorable dogs ran into view from behind some bushes. Observing them, she noticed it looked as if they had just gotten out of the pool. The pups looked like they were having the time of their lives. Wifey grinned brightly as she watched them chase each other around the garden.

Wifey then noticed a woman on the back porch was also watching the dogs and waved to her. "Hello! I'm sorry for gawking but I heard the barking then I noticed this beautiful garden and couldn't help but come admire it!"

The woman laughed and replied, "That is quite alright, the boys haven't been quiet during their garden arrest so I don't blame you for being distracted by them."

Wifey looked perplexed for a brief moment before giggling, "I've never heard anyone call it garden arrest before but that's the most endearing way of saying it. I absolutely love it!"

The woman smiles and says, "Well, I'm glad I could expand your vocabulary."

"Thank you for that, I'll go ahead and leave you to your day! Again, beautiful garden!" Wifey left with another wave and finished her walk with a smile on her face.

Today was a beautiful day to sit in the garden, relaxing a bit and enjoying a nice cup of coffee. A woman approached, admiring all the flowers. Yes, the garden looked great. It should after all the work she had put into it.

The woman said she had come down to the barking of the dogs. 

Cadhla smiled and answered.

"Yes the dogs have garden arrest. I had just returned from the groomer and of course she had again charged a fortune to wash and trim the dogs. They looked so beautiful again. I let them in, but my housekeeper was busy on the terrace and had left the outside door open. So you can imagine what the dogs were doing. They ran into the garden and jumped right into the pool. All the money spent on the groomer was spoiled in oee second. I was a bit conflicted to get angry or just let it go. I chose the second."

The woman looked at her in surprise.

"Garden arrest? I have never heard of that."

Cadhla also looked surprised.

"I think this might not be the right word to use, but the children get house arrest, so dogs then but garden arrest."

The woman started laughing and thought it was funny that she had heard this pun. She said goodbye with a big smile and Cadhla went back to her terrace, where the coffee had not yet gone cold.
