Now that I have your attention, I would like to introduce you all to my newest and greatest invention.

WhereWasI pulls a paper bag out of his pocket, cuts two eye holes and a mouth hole, and puts it over his test dumby Fozzie's head.

As promised I will not hurt Fozzie during this demonstation as long as he helps me demonstrate how to use "The WhereWasI Paper Bag Protection Program".

I've noticed that some people are afraid to speak in the streets because of the negative responses, whether they be the form of comments, harassing mails, or unnecessary death threats from someone without the gun or authority to get you killed. As long as you are respectful (And I highly suggest you bring the material to someone else before posting in the streets, I'll even help you if no one in your family will) I will do my best to make sure the idiots point the finger with no real threats behind it at me. Quite frankly I'm not afraid to look like an idiot. The streets are a place for creativity and I won't let simple minded critics bring them down again. All you have to do to receive the protection is put on one of my trademarked WhereWasI Paper Bags (OOC: In character put it over your head and then send me a mail and I'll try to help you) and notify a monkey. They report to the upper structure every time I'm sighted and my brilliant disguise was recently foiled. Every time someone puts a paper bag over their head I'm notified.

Fozzie speaks up,

But where would we get one of these bags?

WhereWasI begins to slap Fozzie but stops himself,

I wasn't done talking yet... You can get these bags at any Lost Pub. All the Pubs have been heavily stocked with them and there's no way I accidentally over ordered Paper Bags and did this to get rid of the damned things.

WhereWasI turns to Fozzie,

I think we're done here, quickly run back to the HQ before PJ realizes I'm out of my cage again!

Just to add on top of what WWI has said there. These streets are for everyone, many people seem to have a fear of speaking in the streets and there are a variety of reasons behind this fear. Whilst mainly these are the types of issues noted by WWI, there are other common issues that prevent people from speaking, such as language barries. We all come from different backrounds and there are some who's first language isn't English, these people often fear speaking in the streets because of the criticism they receive from others with the way they talk, or even how they pronounce certain words (OOC: spelling and/or grammar errors).

I would like to reassure people with such a fear that they should feel free to come out of the shadows and express themselves as much as they like. I am certain that the mafioso that walk these streets will have enough common courtesy to allow for such language barriers when responding to any comments, and any that don't and wish to critique how something is put across instead of focusing on the content of your message itself, well their opinion isn't worth worrying about in the first place.

PJ laughs from an alley across the street as he watches two people peg it towards his headquaters. He then hits hysterics as one of them appears to run straight in to a wall with what appears to be a massive smile on the back of his head when realisation hits him

Anyway... I have always been an advocate of street presence and tried to hold on to peoples ability to be able to come to these streets and say what they want with out fear of backlash from the majority. You and I, we have all seen it! Someone being berated because their English isn't as good as ours or their speech and pronunciation isn't as well constructed as many of us hold dear. The only time anyone should be afraid to come out here is when they come out with the plain intention of causing disrespect. You know what I mean... I'll use WhereWasI as an example.

"That WhereWasI is a prick who deserves nothing more than a fucking bullet between the eyes for bringing this shit to the streets." Now... However true that may be... That would get you shot.

Anyway, I digress with me dream and will say one more thing. Never be afraid to approach our streets with what is on your mind or because you feel that you don't grasp the English language well enough or you can't pronounce as well as the best of em. As long as what you are trying to say is understandable and has substance and a decent subject you should be fine.


PJ turns to Fozzie and removes the plastic bag then turns to him

Now my friend, you might be ugly like WhereWasI said but that's no need for a plastic bag. Why don't you help me go secure his cage a little better eh?

WhereWasI slaps PJ's hand,

Excuse me, but that bag is there because with a physique like that he'll always need some form of help in the streets. He's my symbol that I won't turn away anyone willing to wear the Paper Bag, no matter how ugly, misshapen, weak, or deserving of a beating.

WhereWasI puts the bag back on Fozzie's head backwards again. Run that way! Fozzie runs into the wall again and WhereWasI falls over laughing, realizes PJ is holding hand cuffs and rolls out into the street barely missing a car and sprints before PJ has the chance to catch him.

PJ while holding a set of hand cuffs notices Fozzie on the floor again. This time leaving him to his own devices and gives chase to WhereWasI


In all seriousness though... This guy has proof read a thing or two for me in the past. If he is offering you his help then I would take it.

More people might contribute to the streets if the average joe who comes here as posts weren't attacked by the people who are in the streets a lot. They are attacked for a one sentence post when sometimes one sentence can say it all. Those whose English is not their first langauge should be encouraged to post and not ridiculed by the street nazis. We should not have to tread lightly in order to post. We should not need to be edited. These oversensitive street nazis need to knock off the bs and debate rather than attack. Ask if they do not understand someones post. Frankly, if I did want something reviewed, I would turn to a family member to review a post.

Even veteran posters are shying away from the boards because the nazis are out of control.

I agree Mercury the street nazis as you put it are those simple minded fools whos only purpose is to belittle someone just to act superior, Its somthing that i have little to no tolerance with. I for one would love to hear peoples storys or veiws on certain matters that is why we come to these streets to enjoy peoples storys or listen to points of opinion or debate as a community.
