Darius knew they called Detroit "The Motor City" for a reason. He came a large open lot close to Lucy's Motorworks as well as Trabotti' Paint Jobs. This was too perfect to be true.
After scouring the west coast along with NY Philadelphia, he assembled a good starting fleet of cars. They ranged from luxury high end cars like the 5 window Chevrolet Eagle and Master, a sporty Deusenberg or popular models such as the Sedan or Ford Model T.
Maglione Motors will provide the best customer experience you will get in Detroit.

DariusMaglione had just opened his car dealership, Maglione's Motors, in Detroit.  He told me he wanted me to do him a favor.  He wanted to know if his new salesmen were doing a good job.  He wanted me to go in, purchase a car, and give him my honest opinion of the customer service.  One thing he demanded from the staff was not to be pushy or get too personal.  In return for my valued opinion, I get to keep the car I selected.

Walking into a dealership showroom, the scent of new leather and polished chrome was in the air. I purposely wore blue jeans, my hair in a ponytail, and a cap.  Salesmen in sharp suits greeted me with a smile, but gave me time. An almost lime green Chevrolet Biscayne caught my eye, and I stopped to admire it when the salesman approached me.

Good afternoon, Ma’am. my is Roland, he politely shook my hand. What you’re looking at here isn’t just a car; it’s the future on four wheels. This is a 1955 Chevrolet Biscayne, a dream car built for tomorrow’s roads, but ready to turn heads today. When those windows roll down, it’s like the whole world opens up.

Ma’am, may I ask your name? I told him my name was Rain. He opened the car door.

Look inside MsRain, you’ll find a dash that looks like it came straight from a luxury airliner. Every control at your fingertips, each detail styled with care. And the view? That wraparound windshield gives you sunlight, the skyline, and everything in between. No matter where you go MsRain, the Biscayne says, ‘This woman has taste and she knows where she’s going.’

I was already pretty much sold on the Biscayne but wanted to know what he knew about Darius’s line of luxury cars.

This is a very nice-looking car, but do you have any luxury cars?  Well, our friendly demeanor diminished when he looked at me and told me he didn’t think I could afford them.  He was so fired.

After some choice words, I asked for another salesperson.   Henry introduced himself and then escorted me upstairs to the luxury cars.  Henry treated me like he knew I had all the money in the world. What a beautiful fleet Darius had showcased. I admired and sat in a Mercedes-Benz 300 SL and a Ferrari 375MM.  The Ferrari 375MM was tempting, but I couldn’t do that to Darius.  Plus, I don’t drive myself that much.

I told Henry that the Biscayne was the apple of my eye, which I wanted to purchase, and for Roland to go to hell.

We went into the office to finalize the sale.  He asked me how I would like to pay for the car.  I told him Mr. DariusMaglione could be taking care of it and to please have him deliver it to Legendary Reliable Cargo Transport, Middlebelt Road Wayne County Airport, Hangar 11, so it can to flown to Los Angeles.

I just watched his mouth drop.

Carlo Gambino strode into Maglione’s Motors with the casual grace of a man on a mission—his eyes, sharp as ever, scanning the gleaming fleet of Detroit’s finest. After greeting Rain and Henry, he turned his attention to the lineup of luxury automobiles, tipping his fedora back slightly as he admired the polish and chrome.

"Hell of a collection Darius has put together," he mused appreciatively, catching Henry’s attention once more. "Been lookin’ for somethin’ smooth but fierce—gotta make an impression, ya know? You got anything special tucked away here that matches a man’s suit?"

Henry brightened, sensing another opportunity. "Absolutely, Mr. Gambino. Right this way," he motioned, leading Carlo to a sleek, midnight-black Mercedes-Benz 300 SL gullwing coupe. The car’s doors opened upwards, dramatic and striking. Carlo’s green eyes lit up, clearly impressed.

"Now that," Carlo said with a slow, admiring nod, "is exactly the kind of style that makes a statement without sayin' a word."

Sliding his fingertips over the polished fender, Carlo looked thoughtfully at Henry. "Tell ya what, kid. Have Darius set this beauty aside—I’ll settle up personally. And Henry?" Carlo’s voice lowered, eyes glittering with playful seriousness. "Keep Roland away from it, huh? Hate to see a beauty like this tarnished by bad manners."

He smiled easily, giving Henry a reassuring nod before glancing toward Rain once more. "Seems we both got ourselves fine rides today, Rain. Guess we owe Darius a drink or two next time he’s in town."

Carlo adjusted his fedora, taking one last appreciative look at the Mercedes before stepping out, satisfied and confident.
