Asking for unity when we very clearly have a situation where a tiny percentage of the population (& their lackies) are keeping their foot on the neck of a significant percentage of the population either makes me doubt your intelligence or paints you as a dissembler.

I think it's a sign of the times that the infamous Monella swirly is considered a high-point in the recent rivalry between coffee shop patrons. Back when the 12th Street Public Toilets were open to the public, they called that "Tuesday".  Rookies would be taken down to the lower levels of the restroom facilities and given their initiation before ever suiting up for a game of mafia basketball. It was a baptism of sorts and the ritual was as strong and meaningful as any mademan ceremony. 

Between the 12th Street Public Toilets, Bricktown CL overthrowing Grin & Head Coach getting lost at sea we hit the high water mark of what this society could be. Real halcyon days.

So your father was a disaster, you’ve chosen a shinier path, and now we're all supposed to link arms and skip down Unity Lane because you had an epiphany? Gold star for moral growth.

Can we not pretend that a few heartfelt platitudes and a mood swing toward “togetherness” erases years of betrayal, wanton destruction, and conveniently selective accountability.

We all need to work together?! How convenient now that society teeters on the edge of the abys and the blame sits uncomfortably close to home with the circle you now frequent.

This speech doesn’t grant you absolution, nor does the new suit, welcome to a world of responsibility, where nobody is asking for unity, just some accountability and maybe some insight into to the decisions that’ve brought us here.

Wounds won’t heal because you decided to evolve, and frankly, people have every right to be suspicious when the plea for unity sounds more like a demand for everyone to forget what has been happening.

Change your mindset but don’t expect applause for finally arriving where others have bled to stand.

I’d rather at this point you just told me the truth, we’re fucked, you have limited choices but you’re going to lean on the guys below you in LA to offer some respite from the not so good cunts operating elsewhere.

I am not going to lie I am suspicious of this "Greater good" thing. Who determines exactly what the greater good is? If the greater good is seeing friends and their kin consistently die just because, I think I will give the greater good a pass.
