Look, I know I'm not exactly the most powerful guy in the city right now, but I've got a few things to say on behalf of the little guy. See, I went downtown a few days ago to get a sandwich at this great deli my friend's uncle owns, right? They've got the best pastrami on this side of the river. You've gotta try it--tell 'em I sent you. Anyways, what I'm tryin' to say is that there were these two guys in line speakin' some gibberish and wearin' some funny-looking clothes. How the hell was I supposed to order my pastrami with them around? I didn't know who they were. I didn't know what they're saying. Far as I know, they're there to put a bullet through my head. See what I mean? I hadn't been payin' much attention until then, but I've been noticing it since. They're fuckin' everywhere. Just look around! Foreigners are arriving on our shores, eating in our delis, and I bet it won't be long 'fore they're taking our jobs, too! Beats the hell out of me why they're even coming here in the first place--it's not like it was in the twenties. There's only so much to go around these days, and wouldn't you know that they'll be first in line to take what little there is? They'll snatch up what jobs are available and take less money for it and those that can't get legitimate work will move into our line of business and take those jobs as well. That's right--they're joining the Mafia. Not a drop of Italian blood in their bodies and they're joining the Mafia. Everyone's so excited to have new generations in their families, sayin' that they've got untapped potential and new stuff to offer our way of life. All I know is that Mafiosi with deep roots in the business are finding less and less space available in the families of their fathers and grandfathers. Unless something's done soon, there won't be space left for any of us. Far as I'm concerned, send 'em all to New Orleans and let them fight it out. That is, if they won't go back to wherever the fuck they came from. |

| Personally, I'd say to watch the Mexican border. They say the best booze comes from Canada but after some of that nasty worm Tequila I'd have to wager that Mexico knows how to party better than those Canadians, eh? | |
