Don_Al_D_Duck had been unusually absent from the HQ during the past few days, but suddenly burst through the door shouting 'It's on, it's finally on!' The rest of the crew looked confused, but Fredo_Trapani just smiled to himself and stood up from the table. 'swoosh, smash' Don_Al_D_Duck swiped everything off the table straight onto the floor in total disregard for the drinking session that was currently underway. 'I said it's fucking on, it's time to work for a living you fucking degenerates.' Don_Al_D_Duck slapped a huge rolled up blueprint down and promptly unrolled it. The crew were still in total confusion, eyes were flying round the room until Fredo_Trapani finally spoke, 'Hold on to you're dicks guys, this is the one we've been waiting for' He pointed his finger at Babs and said 'I'm sending you in on this one, I need a marksman with muscle.' The expression on Babs' face quickly turned from a confused one into smug one, a huge smile had had appeared on his face. The thing with Babs was, Babs loved his job more than the rest, this was partly the reason why Babs had moved up the ranks faster than most, they were all good earners but it was different with Babs. Babs was in it for his own pleasure, the feel of a good gun in his hand, the power that came with it, it was like a drug to him and he just couldn't get enough of the rush. Fredo_Trapani added 'As point man on a job of this scale you're gonna' need a real heavy duty gun, can you sort that?' Babs replied so quickly it was like he had waited his whole life just to respond to this exact question, 'I've got just the thing for this don't about a fucking thing Boss' By now Don_Al_D_Duck had setup the table top revealing the plan to the rest of the crew, they were all silently staring in disbelief, except the boss, Fredo_Trapani who had already left the room to make a phone call. You see Fredo_Trapani knew exactly what was going on and had previously sent Don_Al_D_Duck to do some reconnaissance and use his connections to infiltrate The Big Scrooge McDuck Bank previously thought of as impossible to penetrate, but that was before The Trapini Crew took on the job, the magnitude of the challenge just made them want to hit it even more. Don_Al_D_Duck sent everyone out of the room except for Babs, so they could discuss the job. This was a four man operation, With Babs armed to the teeth, the pressure was taken care of, Don_Al_D_Duck declared himself 'The driver' and Freddo had a contact he knew in LA who was, well let's just say explosive in this field of expertise. Fredo_Trapani walked back into the room with his trademark cigar always held in the left hand. Fredo_Trapani always tried to keep his right hand empty, he had a deep rooted paranoid disposition after striving to be the chief for so many years, although now in charge and masked well, it hadn't left him. He liked his predominant hand available so he could react even faster than the drop of a hat if he felt it necessary to bash somebodies teeth, and when he did it usually happened before they knew what hit them. Although this rarely happened nowadays because of the natural respect Fredo_Trapani had around the HQ but after a rough climb to the top old habits die hard and he remained ready for what he perceived as inevitable. Babs was listening to the plan intently, hardly a word had left his mouth, stood with one food against the wall and still smiling to himself he already knew what he had to do. Babs was known as somewhat of a hero amongst the five families, and particularly in his own crew. No single person had ever pulled off the amount of heists, hold ups and all manor of robberies that Babs had. More to the point, Babs usually operated alone, going in with no backup, just himself and a gun and always returned richer, happier and with large tributes. Babs always paid up more than he needed to as a way to keep the higher ups content with his unsavoury passion for over extending his muscle in these types of situation. Don_Al_D_Duck was a relatively new recruit but was trusted as Babs himself had brought him in, and just so happened to be a distant cousin of Scrooge the original founder of this big bank no body wanted to hit, this allowed him to obtain blue prints and locate the vaults location within the compound. The time was right. As Don_Al_D_Duck finished unravelling the plans to Babs, Freddo re-entered the room 'You'll both go to the air port tomorrow and pick up our contact from LA, he goes by the name 'Dynamite'. 'If you get him to the vault Babs, then he will get you inside, and if you both get the cash back to car Don_Al_D_Duck will get you out of there, you won't need to worry about anything else' While the heist was underway, Fredo_Trapani was going to organise the rest of the crew in one of the family owned restaurants to cause a huge disturbance, shoot off some rounds and then hold the staff up in a hostage situation. Of course luring the full attention of the local law enforcement. Only trusted staff worked the in the family owned businesses and this one had old escape tunnels already built into the fortifications as it was once used as a HQ in the old days. The crew would use these tunnels to evade 'The dumb fucking pigs' as Freddo had so eloquently put it. The three Trapanis waited for the next morning to arrive. Fredo_Trapani and Don_Al_D_Duck couldn't sleep a wink, restless with the up coming events in mind. Babs on the other hand slept like a baby just like he always did, completely unfazed, comfortable in the knowledge of his own abilities under pressure. The next day finally arrived and Dynamite's plane was landed. They were now just 24 more hours away from the biggest score to date for the Trapinis. Dynamite appeared dressed to impress in a matching suit and hat, he smelled slightly of damp gun powder and had over used his aftershave in a vein attempt to mask the fragrance. Don_Al_D_Duck and Babs had heard Fredo_Trapani toss Dynamite's name around the HQ as part of his stories he so loved to tell, so although they had never been formally introduced until now they already knew what this guy could do and had no uncertainty that he was the one for the job. Dynamite got his nick name during his army days and his reputation preceded him, he understood explosives like no other and had an unhealthy obsession with blowing things up in this case a vault full of millions of dollars just waiting to be claimed by new these owners. This tale will continue.... |
