A tale as old as time; ‘what can I do I am just one person?’ - A phrase that has been said a lot for the last couple of years, whilst the mobsters around quietly quit the life of crime. We have seen a wave and wave of pathetic Crew leaders ‘lead’ families with complete incompetence, bootlicking and head nodding to a regime that frankly were not interested in anything but complete destruction of this thing of ours. To call the regime weak would be foolish, they demonstrated through fear and ruthlessness you can stay in power a very long time, but at what cost? Despite the regime having 25 crews, 7 of which were godfathers someone decided enough was enough. A young lady who some say was half Russian half Ukrainian decided to make a stand. ‘What can I do I am just one person?’ - Katerina put on her Soviet Union issued boots, the one with a bear stitched in the sole and shot Cadhla and Riina in the face. launching a war of 1 vs over 100 mobsters. Katerina didn’t know it, but those shots would be the beginning of the end for the regime. Few days from the first shooting Katerina would claim over 20 critical kills, crew leaders, Godfathers and button men alike lay bloodied on the streets. What was the response? Nothing. What were people expecting? This is a regime that have only been interested in self preservation and couldn’t care what happens to the people they are supposed to protect. Even the kin of Riina a supposed great mind of war and strategy, retired like a sulking child. The result…. The rest played a game of hide and seek with Katerina, keeping themselves protected, whilst the ‘leaders’ and followers around them were sacrificed. There was no response, no game plan, the only hope they had was that Katerina was accidentally shot by someone trying to protect her. A quite frankly embarrassing strategy for a regime that yielded so much power. Unfortunately, the regimes prayers were answered and on the 5th day of the war Katerina was killed by someone trying to protect her. Not a fitting death for such a warrior. Whilst the regime thought it was over, others had been inspired by Katerina’s efforts and decided to take out the remaining survivors of the regime, therefore ending the war and creating a new world, one that is still in progress. Lastly I would like to say, I have talked a lot about Katerina, but she couldn’t have achieved what she did without the help of other mobsters that came to her aid after those first two shots. Although Katerina had the gun, everyone else made an impact through protecting, information and strategy. There were some real MVPs that worked tirelessly to ensure this regime was brought down, those people know who they are and most importantly, the people left alive know who they are! A message to the leaders of the 6 cities and future leaders of this world. Have pride, get to know your members and finally if someone shoots someone in your crew, shoot them back! Stop being a pussy |
