Located on the Jefferson Avenue, a new classic candy and chocolate store opened to the public. The storefront included large display windows showcasing various trays of assorted chocolates and candies, a bright neon sign that read "Sinful Delights", and a royal purple awning that provided shade to window shoppers with the hopes of drawing them inside. Upon stepping inside, you are greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere with rich chocolate, sugar, and vanilla aromas filling the air. A long, polished glass display counter runs along one wall, and it is filled with rows of hand-crafted chocolates, caramels, and fudge. Behind the counter, there are shelves lined with jars of colorful hard candies, licorice whips, and chocolate-covered nuts. Along the other wall were large windows that allowed people to watch chocolatiers and various other confectionery specialist hard at work, crafting the 'sinful delights' sold in the store. In the kitchen, large copper pots simmered with caramel, while the marble top counters held rows of freshly dipped truffles left to cool, taffy being stretched, brittles being pulled, and fudge being cut into squares. Between the two side walls are numerous featured displays that included gifts, baskets, knickknacks, & souvenirs that are available for purchase. In the back of the store was a classic soda fountain with chrome stools and a marble-topped bar, where customers could order ice cream sodas, banana splits, hot fudge sundaes, cream puffs, and cannoli which were already the talk of the town. There was also in the back cozy table settings where patrons could sit and enjoy a light lunch or sandwich or appreciate the store's various imported teas and coffees while chatting with family and friends. |

after his contemplations of burning the library to the ground faded away, SlimRagnarok, or Slim as The Hunter has began referring to him as, stepped into this new Detroit venture. The place was clean, organized, and didn’t stink of Fanta, yet. There was promise here, as long as the filthy fucks from New York didn’t come around with their pet swans. |

super attractive, super slim, super beloved by all of Detroit, SlimRagnarok was wondering where Detroits most infamous newpaper journalist was. the hour was early, the drinks where cold, and there wasnt a payday to be had for another fortnite or so. as he sipped his drink, Ragnarokw wondered if George, or Fanta, or anyone with a wallet filled with money would slip by and cover his bill. SlimRagnarok was slim, and famously cheap |

The opening of "Sinful Delights" on Jefferson Avenue had the neighborhood buzzing. The large display windows showcased trays of rich chocolates and colorful candies, tempting every passerby. The warm, inviting scent of cocoa, sugar, and vanilla filled the air as Domenico stepped inside. Polished glass cases lined one wall, filled with rows of handcrafted chocolates, caramels, and fudge. On the opposite side, large windows allowed customers to watch the chocolatiers at work. Behind the counter stood Bathsheba, the elegant owner, her sharp eyes flickering between the patrons and her workers. Spotting Domenico, she offered a honeyed smile. "Welcome to Sinful Delights. Something sweet for you today?" Domenico scanned the display. "What do you recommend?" Bathsheba gestured gracefully. "Our Midnight Truffles are a favorite—dark chocolate with a hint of bourbon. Or perhaps the Golden Honey Caramels? Smooth, buttery, with a touch of sea salt." "I’ll take a box of the truffles and a dozen caramels," Domenico decided. Bathsheba nodded to a worker, who swiftly packed the order in a sleek paper bag. At the register, the young cashier tallied the cost. "That’ll be $3.50, sir." Domenico handed over the bills. "Keep the change." With a satisfied smirk, he stepped back onto the street, the weight of his purchase swinging lightly in his grip. "Sinful Delights" had just earned itself a loyal customer. And perhaps, Bathsheba mused as she watched him go, something more. |

The bell chimed like a jazz note played soft and sweet, and TheDude wandered into Sinful Delights like he’d been guided by fate or a particularly persuasive sugar craving. The smell hit first; chocolate, caramel, vanilla; like someone melted nostalgia into the air and served it with whipped cream. He paused at the counter, eyes scanning the display like he was lookin’ for lost meaning in a sea of truffles. Behind the glass: fudge squares lined like soldiers, taffy stretching like time itself, brittle that looked like it could shatter a bad mood. A worker greeted him with a polite nod. “Can I help you?” TheDude leaned in close to the glass, eyes wide. “Man… this is like Willy Wonka but less… murder-y.” Bathsheba, elegant as a perfectly cut gem and twice as sharp, approached. “Something catch your eye?” “Honestly?” he said, pointing vaguely, “All of it. But I don’t got the kind of metabolism for commitment.” She smiled. “Try the bourbon truffle. On the house.” He bit into it with a reverence usually reserved for revelations or really good vinyl. His eyes closed halfway. “Oh yeah… that’s like jazz and therapy had a baby in my mouth.” Bathsheba folded her arms, amused. “You from around here?” “Kinda floatin’. Philly for now. But Detroit’s always got a vibe, y’know?” She nodded slowly. “You’re not the usual kind of customer.” “Yeah, well,” he shrugged, “I ain’t the usual kinda anything.” He bought a small box of caramels, left a generous tip, and headed toward the soda fountain in the back. As he slid onto a chrome stool, he looked over his shoulder with a lazy grin. “This place? It’s dangerous in all the best ways.” Then he flagged the soda jerk with two fingers. “White Russian float. If that’s not on the menu… improvise.” |

it had been a long few days since Ted swirlyed himself to death. the joy that filled the HQ wasnt gone, nor did anyone but SlimRagnarok really notice that something had changed. Ted was gone, and so was his overly annoying chants of 'Make Detroit Great Again'. business continued as usual, but Slim needed company and a drink or three. he strolled down to Sinful Delights to drown his sorrows
Ill have two of whatever you recommend Bathsheba. One for myself, and one for the ghost of Ted. Today we honor Ted, even if he didnt honor himself, or the commitment to making Detroit great again |

*Gethsemane was in a bit of a hurry; he was running late for an appointment but he hadn't eaten yet today, and while still slightly buzzed from the double espresso he had downed earlier but he was feeling a bit faint and needed a bit of a bump both in energy and to his blood sugar a bit of a bump. A real meal would probably be a bit more appropriate and last a touch longer, but he was really running quite late and it was hardly a time to be picky. The sharp, sickly sweet caramel smell penetrated his senses, and he pushed into Sinful Delights, the name making it unclear what to expect, but the smell reinforced it sharply* |

*Gethsemane had a date, but no ordinary date, a date with a girl he was certain was the one. Her eyes were emerald green and flared with a golden light, she had light freckles and deep black hair, she had a smile that could make you forget your name... Gethsemane was here to add the next piece of operation sweep her off her feet, some deluxe candy would hopefully give her an idea how much effort he was putting in and how serious he was about the relationship* |
