I've never owned one and have always been curious. What I'm asking must fluctuate according to activity at the time and all the rest but how much would you usually need in your vault to start out? I'm not even sure how many are into the gambling aspect, I'm just curious about what it's like owning one and the costs. |

I've owned one on more than one occasion. Users only broke the bank once and that was my fault. Usually 20m is enough. |

It's 110-120 million I forget which. Thats a 100 for the purchase and the rest goes in the vault You have some control over pay tables and how much you allow people to bet You collect rakes from cash poker tables you can create in the casino interface You collect losses and payout wins from your vault If you bankrupt your vault you lose the casino, you get nothing in return
In the future this should go in the Help Forum. Good luck. |

not worth it to buy tbh
no one really uses it, all gambling uses dice anyway
squishy should either move some of the dice stuff to being player run (with bankroll from the casinos) or scale down the pricing of the casinos and add in some new gamees |

I may be imagining things but iirc Squishy has said in the past that it's a known money-sink. Not really a thing to make you rich but more like a long-term goal for players that had too much money and didn't know what to do with it. |

Doesn't seem to be doing bad over the last 30 days. Only 1Bn in cash and 3k+ of credits. |

Eala, sadly big swings never last, House lost 3/4th of a billion today lol. (but is up 110 credits in the past day, yay)
The dice stuff can never really be player owned because no one really has the funds to keep it going, it would be bankrupt in no time flat :/ |

The costs of owning one all depends on what you deem as an acceptable risk. Someone can drain a few hundred million with a few wins in roulette, one big win will bankrupt your average casino, two back to back will bankrupt almost everyones. If you limit the size of the bets, you limit the people that will play it. If you don't limit it, you need to back it with enough funds to always cover the bets. The casinos are a rich man 'end game' type feature where you basically just suck down the daily automated XP for the owner and the designated manager, and make a few bucks in the process. it is not a huge money maker in the short term by any means. |
