I think it would result in having to be constantly checked by staff after getting complaints.  People can be downright awful when they feel they wont be held accountable for their actions, especially if its immediately after being triggered reading something and with that AnonTip button *right there*.  Anonymity is fickle thing.  If we set a minimum price, then it can be an "well, they tried to make me feel like shit, but I got at least 500k out of it" like with anon credit transfers.  I think setting a higher minimum price would limit some of the abuse while still making the feature a possibility.  Also we would have to have warnings a'plenty that false reporting will result in administrative action, as well as using it to harass players or break policy will result in administrative action.

Tips hasn't been written yet for the new version so I am open to ideas, but in order for something to exist, its purpose and community gain needs to be much greater than the absolute headache of maintaining it from an administrative side.  This feature is exactly the kind of thing that would mean hundreds of additional hours of review for context, dealing with brigading by friends of whomever was reported, dealing with brigading by friends of whomever did the reporting, sitting down two grown ass adults and explain why this isn't acceptable... and other lovely time sucks to be repeated every year, and since that review would have to require looking at all past interactions and past characters, would most likely be done by just toby or I.

So long story short, I understand the idea, but the only way this can really get put in is if there are some safeguards to protect people from themselves, as well as other, as well as protecting our time that could best be spent on other parts of MR rather than dealing with fallout of users being petty to each other while feeling all badass while anonymous.
