| Returning to Crime . . . | Started by: Rhuarc on Jul 07, '08 12:42 |

I'd tried to stay away from the life of crime, tried to keep my head down and make an honest living but when you're brought up around crime, how can you expect to get away? In my attempt to go clean, I'd joined a small security firm, starting at the bottom, running errands for the boss, a lazy fat bastard called Sef. I hated him from the start and he knew it. He seemed to go out of his way to make my life hell and so, after working for 3 weeks with the guy, I found myself getting more and more annoyed. Not only was it shit pay, this useless chump was running me round like a fool and so, I decided to take action. Late one evening, I waited for Sef in the car park. I stood in the shadows and watched as he walked up to his vehicle, an old red pick-up truck. Even the way he walked made me sick, more a waddle as his fat thighs got in the way. He reached his truck and was trying to find the right key with his fat fingers. I walked up beside him, put my gun to the side of his head and pulled the trigger. Until I pulled the trigger, I wasn't sure if I'd be able to go through with it but as I squeezed, I not only knew I could do it, I knew I'd be OK with doing it, no hint of remorse, no fear or panic. At last, I'd found my calling, the path I'd desperately tried to avoid, was the path I was destined to walk, the path walked by my father. With Sef now dead, I decided to return to his office where I knew he kept some cash. The cash would definitely help but the main thing that made me go back, was his store room. I have no idea what's in there, but he'd made damn sure I'd never find out. And with Sef being so secretive, it must be something worth my while. Picking up his keys, I made for the building. I located the correct key to his office easily enough and made for the safe, I cleared out the contents, 200k in $50's, a nice score to get me started. Then I went to the store room. I tried a number of different keys before I eventually heard the click of the bolt moving. Slightly excited and a little nervous, I opened the door. It was dark, smaller than I'd thought, with a shelve acting as a desk running the width of the small room, more a cupboard. I ran my hand along the wall, searching for a light switch which I located and flicked. On the table, was a small brief case. I picked up the brief case and was surprised as the locks clicked back. I opened up the brief case to find a single note with a cryptic clue:
Perplexed, I come to you all today with the question: "Can anyone solve this statement?" |

| He looked at the men, on his passign by. Giving a slight laugh at them, he nodded to Dr.FeelGood and continued down the street. | |
