"See... and the 5 thousand is magically gone. So is this really about the money? Or all the butts you get to grab in the process? Because I am most certainly not in it for the money."

It still bother me if non PP friendly PPed by someone and decide to mug the user back if he has the vision.

Is he entilted for the money ? Or he isnt cause he is not PP friendly but another user PPed him,in this case gave away the money and report for the action assuming this one is in not PP friendly city

I agree with you sicksauce. Nobody cares, i have tattoo that say PP UNFRIENDLY but still people pickpocket me even in cities which arent pp friendly. Personally i see it as disrespect becouse you can always find someone who is pp friendly. People jsut do it on purpose. I think there should be rule like if you are pick pocket unfriendly and soemone steals money from you, you can kill him.

Hi everyone, I personally dont have anything against someone pp me, but I find it little disrespectful if they are not paying back, even if that money doesnt mean much to me, I think when someone pp you they should send money back, if they dont, then we should have right to mug them and keep all money we take, also I think if someone dont want to be PPed then people shouldnt pp them as Legion said theres a lot of us which dont hold grudges about getting PPed.

All in all if someone say its unfriendly and someone still pp him there should be some punishment for him, maybe not death but something like paying back 5 times more then he took in PP or something like that.

I mean it's his city he could do whatever he wanted even though my tattoo reads "Not pickpocket friendly". I could have picked to say no or allow him. Since he paid me some respect I agreed to let him try to pickpocket me. The point of my example is if you show some respect before pickpocketing it might get you a positive response rather than hoping you stealth whoever your trying. Even those of us not pickpocket friendly may even say yes from time to time if you approach us beforehand.

Just to highlight Senka's comment there; I've often found that approaching those "un-friendly" to being Pick Pocketed isn't as pointless as most would think it is. Its very common that i'm met with a warm Yes in response to my request to steal from them. Although I always rob from one pocket it and dip it back into the next, but thats not the point really, the point is I pay the respect people are due by approaching them in advance.

I know for a fact there are many of us out there that enjoy the rush of wondering whether they managed to steal someones money without them noticing or not, they sit and wonder for 5 minutes to see if their target catches up with them and steals money back or not. Whilst I agree this is a very fun aspect of Picking a pocket, it is also the reason so many deteste the "sport" of PPing. Its not the fact they've had a few dollars stole that annoys people, its the fact that they feel violated and have no idea who by.

Now anyone who knows me, knows I love to Pick Pockets. My ancestors in fact hold the record for the Most Pockets Picked I believe, though it took a great effort to beat the infamous theif Raptor and to a lesser extent Killer Jane, who was also a tremendous theif at one point. My point being that as someone thats very experienced in the art of Picking a pocket I can't understand peoples reluctance to being PP Friendly when there isn't any harm done IF the person goes about it in the right manner. I would much rather people were friendly to being PP'd with the condition they are approached beforehand with a request from their assailant. Sure, many will argue that asking someone if you can rob from them is crazy.. but is it? I don't believe it is. Think of it like this;

I approach a random stranger.. I request permission to steal from this person.. they grant it. Now, the fun in this for me is that although he'll know that it was me that did it when he finds himself short of a few dollars, I still want to get in and out of his pocket without being caught red handed and test my skills. Nothing more, nothing less. I see no harm there. As I stated earlier I always drop the cash into another pocket so that the person isn't left short of money, I do this as a mark of respect as its never my intention to rob the person, simply to test my ability to do so without him/her catching me in the act.

If everyone could give the same respect to others we would likely find more and more people being receptive to the act of PickPocketing; as it stands, far too many like to take advantage of their ability to get in and out without being noticed and so they don't bother to alert their victims beforehand, and many then still don't even have the courtesy to let them know after the fact either, which is again even worse.

Well, I'm starting to ramble so I think i'll stop there.. My main point obviously being that PPing itself isn't the issue, respect is. People need to learn to show the respect due to their fellow mafioso and stop treating them with such disdain.

Way back when my ancestors first arrived, they thought it was disrespectful in all situations for someone to pick anothers pocket. Eventually though, they changed their mind about this and my family have been avid pp'ers ever since. I try my best to remain respectful at all times, and to do this I've imposed strick rules on myself. First and foremost is to always look for a non mafiosi to pickpocket first, if this can't be done then I'll go for somebody of a lower rank than I. If the person is a CL, RHM or LHM then I steer clear, as no matter their rank they are of higher stature than I. If I successfully pick the pocket of the person, then I'll always, ALWAYS give them back double the amount I took. It's just good manners - a thank you if you will, for letting me pick their pocket.

I feel asking someone first before you pick someones pocket is just silly. Wheres the fun if the person knows your going to do it? Sure, reveal yourself after the fact but never before, usually they are more than happy when I give them extra money in return. By doing these simple things, I've never been mugged after picking someones pocket and I intend to remain that way.

I take a look at the City Rules and if they say something to the effect of 'this is a PP friendly city, bank your cash or lose it' then I feel it's acceptable to dip my hands in any resident's or visitor's pocket without so much as a quick glance at their profile.

If their profile says No PP, I don't, although I guess that if the city rules say otherwise then there's no reason not to?

Before this recent change, I hated the act of picking pockets. I never wasted my time on digging around in pockets and I didn't like it when others did it to myself. I wouldn't avoid the friendly cities, I would just pray that, only because it's a rule in the city, people would still have the courtesy to follow my wishes, especially those with a lower rank in our world.

Now that it has been altered, I pick myself a pocket or two, and actually removed my 'Unfriendly' tattoo in hopes that I can catch the bloody fooker digging in my pockets and chase him down for more than the measly $5,000.

See If mugging back wasnt around then I honestly feel pick pocketing would be something I would want to be avoided. BUT because there is mug back and you can get a lot more than 5 big ones pick pocket is pointless to hate on. I think those who who didnt want to be pick pocketed have this neat ability to mug that fooker back. I am not sure if you can mug back if they are successful though truth be known. But even as the pick pocketer if i get caught then I feel its in your every right to mug me back its apart of the fun of pickpocket in my thoughts.
