Yesterday I got sent to jail over what they’re calling theft, but what I’m calling a gambling misunderstanding of the highest order. Yes, I may have “accidentally” taken a winning betting slip that didn’t technically belong to me. But in my defence, it was just sitting there. Lonely. Vulnerable. Practically begging to be claimed by a loving new owner. And when I saw those numbers lined up perfectly, my brain went, “That’s yours now, champ”.
Apparently the law doesn’t agree. Next thing I know, I’m being slapped with the title of “Event thief” like I’m some mastermind.

Now, during this whole debacle, I was watching everyone’s reactions because I know where my real enemies hide. 

JamesHowlett, you laughed a little too hard. It wasn’t a “that’s a bit funny” laugh, it was a “this is the greatest day of my life” laugh. You’re on the list. Twigs, I saw you trying to cover your grin with your hand. Didn’t work. You’re on the list. Beluga, the smirk, the head shake, the “serves him right” look, list. Soul_Hooligan, you think you’re slick, but I caught you giving a nod of approval. List. 

And Matt… oh Matt. Not only did you enjoy every glorious second of my downfall, you went full villain and petitioned to have me thrown back in again. You’re not just on the list, you’re in bold, underlined, and surrounded by angry doodles.

Now, to the good people who actually showed loyalty, DarwinRoss, you were front and centre outside the jail chanting “FreeTripleT” like it was a life-or-death cause. You even had that slightly unhinged glint in your eye that makes a protest feel legit. TheDude, you beautiful human, you were selling “FreeTripleT” t-shirts to raise funds for my solicitor, and judging by the speed you had them ready, you must have a warehouse of Tony-themed merch just waiting for my next arrest. Dean-Winchester, technically you were there, but mostly you were just in your own little bubble talking about the importance of daily stretching. I’m not sure if you were limbering up for a prison break or just showing off your hamstrings, but hey, attendance is attendance.

I will clear my name. I am innocent, or at least I am innocent enough for this to be a legal grey area, which is basically the same thing in my book. The truth will come out, the record will be set straight, and the words Event Thief will be erased from my reputation.

To make that happen, I am now officially starting a crowdfunding campaign to cover my solicitor’s fees. Every donation counts, whether it’s pocket change, life savings, or the proceeds from your own slightly questionable gambling activities. Together, we will restore my good name, bring justice to the wrongly accused, and maybe, just maybe, get me a nicer suit for my next court appearance.

The enemies are noted. The friends are remembered. The list grows. And the next time someone drops a winning betting slip, I’ll be watching very closely.

No.  It couldn't be.  Ah well.  Ol' Diffy didn't really give a fuck.  But, being the splendid dude that he was he reached into his coffee money and found a few wadded up bills that he could spare.  After all - he was a measley RH.  He wasn't an infamous Crew Leader with a suitmaking business....
