Good afternoon you miscreants. Due to some unfortunate issues with my Witchering responsibilities over the weekend, I was unable to provide updated duel guides for the rounds of 16 and 8. I know you are all EXTREMELY disappointed, but one must have priorities. I now present you with the odds and selections for the semifinal duels, along with some less statistics based selections from the loser's bracket. Without known Tonypicks to draw on, I will be making presumed selection for him based on his previous selections. Duel One
Odds: Oblibot -200, FishyBot +160 Analysis: ObliBot appears to be the favorite in the final four, with the highest hit rate and number of one shot kills of the remaining bots. It has needed only 12 shots to win it's five duels. On the other hand, FishyBot has taken down a number of top competitors on it's way to the semifinals, notably killing the ferocious Cheesasaurus Rex. Our pick: Oblibot, UNDER 6.5 rounds. Avenge my bot! Tony's presumed pick: Fishybot, because there is something Fishy about his process here. Duel Two
Odds: Legless Ash -350, GDB +280 Analysis: GDB comes in as a massive underdog here, with a hit rate in the single digits. However, it has also demonstrated the highest evade, having yet to participate in a duel lasting fewer than double digit rounds. LeglessAsh has demonstrated a keen aim throughout the tournament, but can he hit the notoriously herky-jerky droolbot? The oddsmakers seem to think so. Our pick: GDB. A cinderella story for the ages, wouldn't be incredible if GDB won the whole thing in honor of it's namesake, the late, great, UglyInbredGeorge? Also LeglessAsh killed Shelbot and cost me 500k, so fuck that guy. Tony's presumed pick: LeglessAsh. This one is obvious - A. The bot owner resides in NY, and B. TonyTheTailor can charge him full price for a suit without having to make trousers. The loser's bracket We are not doing stats and odds for the loser's bracket, because, quite frankly, they are losers. Whoever wins these duels are just less losery than the losers that lose to them. Here are my predictions for the loser's bracket based on whim, vague recollection of previous duels, and personal bias. Mrs_Cat over Johnny_Mana. Cats are nice. NeverFrancis defeats Crawzaddy. Always Francis. Bob_Bot smokes Raga_GPT, the GPT age is over. BotDude better beat The5Eazys because LiamGallagher already has a top 4 bot so fuck that guy. Francis SLAUGHTERS Hush_Bot, Always Francis. BotBotBot bonks Frosty on the noggin. |
