I think the main point of DW's post is being missed; it isn't whether or not the Big Easy let the Big Apple win or that they were "better" or New York was inferior. His overall point is that no one should ever take anyone else lightly, even when one is such a powerful position (as Stamina appeared to be). The tables can always be turned and those deemed weakest may have just yet to show their power and those assumed to be powerful may not have been pressed enough to show any weaknesses.

Signs were shown v-day how bad New Orleans could be at planning and how strong LV and NY worked together; more importantly was as one.   They worked as a cohesive unit where New Orleans named targets sat in thebigeasy cafe with them my brother in laws diaries say.  I think it shows power is simply not enough and although many bodyguards can assist and exted  life is not enough.

The first point you made may have been in fact correct. However, understand that ONE gun does not win a war. Time and time again it's been proven that ONE individual cannot win a war. It takes a collective unit to work together towards a common goal. This way of life isn't about how big of a gun you train, or how many bodyguards you have following around you. It's about your family, and your social connections.
