Skorpeon walked down the street with a bounce to his step. The war was coming to an end, spring was here and the Chicago cubs were training harder than ever down in Arizona for the coming year. He knew this was their year, the year that they'd finally beat those god damn Yankees, take the World Series by storm and afterwards, when the streets of Chicago were flooded with blue and red, he'd consider, seriously consider, buying the team.

He stopped outside the house of Cory Chase and knocked on his door, "I hope you're ready." He called out, waiting for someone to open it. When Cory finally greeted him with a "Hey boss." All Skorpeon did was nod his head and give a brisk, "Follow me."

The two men walked down the street not speaking until they got to the crowded downtown area.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, a moment of your time please." He called out before waiting for people to mill about and pay attention. "I come here with an announcement, one that I couldn't be happier to make. Cory Chase here," he pauses to wave his second in command forward a bit "has been with me for quite some time. And in that time he has shown me that he is not only loyal, but capable. And because of that, and other reasons, I have decided to give him my blessing and allow him to start his own family in the great city of Chicago."

With that Skorpeon stepped to the side, offered up his friend his hand and shook it before turning back to the crowd, "Ladies and gentlemen, Cory Chase, the newest leader in Chicago." Before he smiled and made his way away from the crowd. As he walked down the street he grinned, knowing Cory probably had not only questions, but congratulations coming his way. And he couldn't think of anyone who deserved them more.

Muloque stand in the corner smoking a cigar when he overhears Skorpeon in the street announcing the new coalition of the family... Wanting to hear more, he sneak and heard Cory name went up. He overjoy it for a moment and went through the crowd and walked toward Cory

Lance stop for a while when he hears a commotion is happening at the streets. He smiles when he heard the name of his leader being congratulated as a new leader.

Armageddon had heard the news of the new auth in Chicago. Making his way through the crowd to join Skorpeon and Cory. He reaches the front finally and takes his hat off before he begins speaking.

It is nice to see Chicago expanding like this, Cory is very much so deserving of this and I am sure I am not alone in saying I expect nothing but great things to come from his crew.

Now time for some drinks, you're buying.

Starts sprintings towards the bar across the street.

Keagan was walking along when she heard the announcement. Walking up to the small group, she smiles.

Congratulations Mr. Chase. I wish you the best with your family.

She turns and continues on her business.

Jin applauds Cory_Chase and makes his way through the crowd when his speech is finished.

Bro, I couldn't think of anyone more deserving of this position. I have no doubt in my mind that you will do a great job fulfilling your new role.

Jin sparks up a joint and turns to Barney.

Maggie had a mix of emotions going through her. On the one hand, she was happy as hell for Chase, because he was truly a hard working chap who had earned his position and she knew in her heart that he'd do a damn good job. On the other hand, there were different fingers. She bit back a sigh and instead smiled, "I couldn't think of someone who deserves this more, although I have to admit I'm not a fan of one of my few friends who I can spend hours bullshitting with is leaving. But you've earned it, and I hope you still make time for us lowly peons." she told him with a laugh.
