Personally, I donīt mind the fact that you need to closely monitor somebody until the very last minute to see if a fresh gangster will join your side or the enemyīs.

I am even ok with the fact that if they are speedy enough to join, get auth, shoot and drop out, then they deserve to get away with it. But if shot and killed, they should come up red, or perhaps even black.

Maybe we could even look into what defines the red and black. Maybe trained or mugged means red but an outright shot at an actual playing account means you donīt even get to be red and beocme just a regular death?

I don't really see a problem with how the current system is set up. A -48 who commits an aggressive action will still appear red in the obituaries, and, unless it's changed, the site still goes by a proof basis before removing accounts, even in times of war.

With that out of the way, pro wacking accounts can generally be scouted out by checking how many units they have as well as matched up with their online times - it's up to the opposition to do the math. While the intentions of the original suggestion are decent, there's simply not that many instances where new-player slaughtering occurs, even in a war situation, and I'm pretty certain that this would only let the opposition hunt their enemies faster, rather than safer.

I think that the second option is a good thing. I mean, how innocent can someone be that has joined a crime family?

Much like others, i'm against Point 1.

Point 2 however, I agree with. If you've joined a family then you are now under their protection, if you risk leaving that family for whatever reason, then tough, your on your own.

Report Post Tip

I just noticed that if this idea gets another sponsor one of the details to debate could be the following. When the gangsters drops out, does he lose the -48 tag or he just loses his innocence and we find out when we see him in the obits?

Report Post Tip

I can agree that a -48 should definitely lose any protection or innocence they may have had with their -48 if they join a crew and drop from it.

The voting for this suggestion has passed.

PC-Cassiopeia has voted YES. [5] (The 48 hours is to look for a crew, if they have already joined one and drop, they shouldn\'t then still have the remaining time, they should have used the time more wisely to begin with.)
PC-El_Nino has voted YES. [4] (I think that innconcence should drop from when you join a crew.)
PC-Flash-Fire has voted YES. [3] (Prevents abuse of something that was implemented to protect new players.)
PC-Lola has voted YES. [2] (Option 2 - definitely. If someone joins a family only drop out, they know the risk they take.)
PC-SpikeSpiegel has voted YES. [2] (For Option 2, Yes)
PC-Sticks has voted YES. [2] (I believe people know this is a mafia game. If they aren\'t aware that loyalty to one family should be one of the biggest things, they shouldn\'t be given second chances at the beginning.)
PC-Warrior has voted YES. [2] (As per my reasons stated in discussion.)
PC-Whitey has voted YES. [2] (Yes, Gets rid of a lot of confusion and frustration by doing this)
PC-DeadlySin has voted NO. [2] (I don\'t think they should lose their -48 tag just because they leave a crew. They are afterall, still -48. People don\'t lose that tag for shooting at others, they simply appear red in the obits with the -48 tag still visible, which is how this should be too.)
PC-ralph has voted NO. [2] (Unnecessary and simply makes it easier for an opposing faction to single out members.)
PC-Adrian has not voted. [2]
PC-Patti has not voted. [2]
PC-Pratster has not voted. [2]
PC-Ter has not voted. [2]
PC-Asylum has not voted. [0]
PC-Grin has not voted. [0]
PC-Sayyid has not voted. [0]
PC-Squishy has not voted. [0]
PC-Tech has not voted. [0]

Voting Totals, Yes: 22 (8), No: 4 (2), Undecided: 8 (9).

PC-Flash-Fire, it is now your responsibility to write a final summary for the coders and to create/edit the wiki article for the suggestion.
