We originally did this as a test run to see if the families were cohesive enough self police, but in the years that we've had it, we've yet to have a time when all the uppers across the board cared enough about family pride that we could ever even consider taking the training wheels off and opening it up to other forums.  I can do this If you feel we have a good enough crop of uppers to train their family, as well as prevent repeat offenders from... ya know... repeating, alongside with getting their future auths on the same page.

Not to be a negative nancy, but more than likely this will end with extreme frustration for myself, the staff, as well as entire families who have their hustle ability turned off because their family keeps spamming over and over and over with 0 effort posts as the uppers turn a blind eye to repeat offenders.

I am not against it, so ill honor whatever the users decide when its vote time, but I feel that pride in ones own family image is not a universal, so maybe the users can pitch ideas of some ways to remove the traditional excuses so that we can have things like this without all the negatives that will inevitably come with it.

On a side note, the new game sort of addresses this in a different way.  There are no "hard coded" forums, there are tags.  You tag what type of thread it is as you post it.  To kind of explain it, the forum you now know as The Streets, for example, would pull the default tags of all threads matching "In Character","Open RP", but not "Business".  You can define an unlimited amount of forums and assign what tags belong to what if you dont like the defaults, basically filtering out any of the shit you don't want to bother with seeing.  

Anyway, how that ties in is when you post, certain tags can trigger a "Rewards" or "No Rewards" tag option. The default is no rewards, but if you tag it as rewards, then it has to meet certain criteria which it heavily walks you through the first few times you post.  Whats great about this is everything gets a classification that is self reported and uses a little logic on our side to ensure its semi accurate.  While I havn't exactly nailed down 100% of the tags we can use, the skeleton is pretty sound.  (Somethign I was thinking about for example, if you choose the Suggestions tag, it can trigger an Anon tag, if you choose to use the anon tag it hits you with the rules about how it can not be emotional, it can not be directed at other players, if you take swipes at other players or anything is cringy, your name will be toggled to be shown so that its not abused as a way to put people on blast without consequences)

Anyway long story short, this opens up a lot of new ways to have conversations and entertainment without everything having to fit neatly in 1 of 3 boxes.
