It's another busy day in downtown New York. As you make your way down the bustling streets, you see a newspaper boy with a stack of papers at his feet on the corner of 34th and Broadway. He's shouting his usual mantra to attract customers, "Extra extra read all about it…".

You are about to rush by him on your way to your next heist when you hear a phrase that catches your attention. Did he just say there's a new crime family in town? You toss him a quarter, pick up a paper and continue reading as you walk. There it is, right on page three, next to a column about the recent death of New York's finest mayor, Xiphos. What a great picture of him kissing another baby, he will be missed. With a smirk on your lips, you focus on the article that made you purchase the paper in the first place.

The headline reads "Look at What the Cat Dragged In". The article continues by speculating that there is a new crime boss in New York, somebody who goes by the name, Zmei, who reputably just got the nod from New York's acting Godfather, Carlo-Maldini, to set up his own headquarters. The columnist goes on to say, with the recent death of so many New York mobsters, it is little surprise that new players will emerge in the scene. The rest of the article just seems to be fluff and unimportant speculations, since it is obvious the journalist is worried about any backlash or retaliation from the New York mobsters.

Once you finish reading the article, you fold the paper and tuck it under your arm. It's time to give your boss a call.

Endurance excitedly dials the wrong number and instead of reaching her boss she realizes that she directly called Zmei.

"Ohh I'm sorry I dialed the wrong number, but I while I have you here I must say a very large congratulations. I know that you will do wonderful things with in the city and for those that inhabit your family." Endurance smiles as she hopes that Zmei isn't too angry at her for her mistake.

After reading the article about his new crime boss in New York, George then tucks the article under his shoulder and continues walking down the busy streets. Thinking to himself about the opprotunity he had been given by Zmei to help him run an organized crime family in the Big Apple he smiled. As he began thinking out loud others gave Jared a quick glance as they'd walk by him.

This is a once in a life time chance to prove my worth to someone who has already became so famous that he has been found in an article in the New York Times. This was no joke, some of the fluff was about Undead Felines being seen knocking over locals 7-11's and had also been on the radio for a bank robbery that left three security guards dead on the scene. 

Jared knew that the sky was the limit working as a right hand in the New York crime syndicate as a right hand. Things were looking up for Jared as Zmei had taken him under his wing.

KissTheSky tucks the paper under her arm, smiling brightly.

Zmei, our bloodlines go back a little ways and I must say how very proud I am to see you take this role on. I know that you're going to do amazing. Congratulations to you my dear.

BB walks up to the newspaper stand grabs a paper starts reading thinking to himself

Hmmm this Zmei sounds interesting and i do need work now that my Father has passed away.

BB walks off to go find Zmei

Valkyrie down the street to the nearest pay phone, threw the correct amount of change in the machine and dialed her HQ to reach her new boss

Hey boss! Guess what? You made the Times! Some of this stuff is a real joke, but the word is out there.

Do you have time to meet up later for a drink to celebrate your new celebrity status?

5 pm tonight at HQ okay with you? I got some banks that need a little recon

Alright, see ya then!

Valkyrie hangs up the phone and rushes towards the Bank of Manhattan Company

Fist-O decided to ride his bicycle to Zmei's new headquarters to give his congratulations to the new capo of New York but not before stopping by the bodega to grab some wine and flowers.  Fist-O knocks once and enters the Zmei's new headquarters.

Congratulations Zmei!  I brought some whine for us here. 

Fist-O sits the glasses down on the table by the door with a congratulations card full of hundred dollar bills.

It's going to be a great journey working along side you and Carlo.

Congrats boss for having this crew.It's an honor to be part of this organization.I'm sure more great things will come in N.Y.

Congratulation for your well deserved promotion.

Cant wait to see the NY will rise again in the future.

Brolly takes the paper and reads it over a few times to let the news set in, with a smile running across his face he knows where his next stop with be…

Zmei my good friend, you have proven yourself to be more then worthy for this particular journey. Being one of the only survivors to come out of the war, and after everything you have done to protect our fine city it brings me great joy to see you take up this role.
