Michael Haller steps out onto the Corktown streets, adjusting the cuffs of his suit the way a man does when he’s making things official.

"Not every meeting in this life ends with raised voices, broken glass, or someone bleeding. Some of them, the important ones, happen behind closed doors, spoken quietly between people who understand what power looks like when it isn’t being waved around.

Earlier today, I had one of those meetings.

TheNewGuy, Corktown’s newly-crowned Godfather, invited me in. No theatrics, no grand speeches. Just two men and a conversation about direction, responsibility, and the future of this district. He extended his hand, offered his trust, and granted me his authorisation to build something of my own under his banner.

I accepted.

So, let me make this simple for the Streets:

I’m Michael Haller. And as of today, I’m opening the doors to a new operation here in Corktown-
The Back Seat Drivers.

Why the name?
Because not every problem is solved by the man with his hands on the wheel. Sometimes the one giving quiet instructions from behind, the one who sees the angles others miss, is the one who gets everyone home alive.

My crew will be built on three things:
precision, loyalty, and results.
If you can’t deliver those, you won’t last a day with us.
If you can, then there’s a seat waiting for you, just don’t expect to be the one driving.
