Very much ready for another race. This season has felt much more engaging than the past few. Max not leading, Lewis not a contender and possibly leaving Ferrari?, McLaren fighting internally for the championship. Although some of the races themselves have been boring still, whomever makes the first few turns in first ends in first, overall been enjoying this year.

As usual I will be hoping for rain. The rain brings a level of strategy and interest to the race, but Las Vegas is not known for their rain forecasts.

closest ive ever gotten to f1 was watching the movie haha but might actually watch the vegas one cause it seems like it would be pretty aesthetically pleasing

Just watched the Qualifying, the track was very wet, but everyone knows I am a big fan of Max Verstappen. He did great, I mean 2nd place with a car that is not really doing what he wants. Looking forward to the race tomorrow.

I have wondered where the skill is in this.  Surely it is just who drives the fastest?  

This was an interesting race today, The result is not what I expected, but hoped for. Still World Champion chances for Max Verstappen.

I have no idea what happened, but I read that two of them got DQed after the race, not sure what is all that about, but alas, Max forever. Could be even better than Schumacher, one of the greatest ever.

I'm not the biggest F1 fan but, hearing Verstappen could make another championship is pretty crazy to see. Same with the double disqualification, that'll shake things up.

they will be in qatar this weekend, im curious to see if there will be any dq's this race and maybe even a pileup off the line like vegas had. curious if norris will stay in 1st after this race

The qualifying for the sprint race was not good for Max Verstappen. Now it is only 8 points to gather, but still. Wonder if he can do something in the sprint race later today.

Looks like we’re set up for a very exciting finale this season! Hope it’s a competitive race, will be interesting to see if people need to start gambling as the race goes on!

I agree with you BuddyBigPaw, this is going to be a very interesting and hopefully exciting last race of the season. Three people can become the World Champion. I will be watching.

Where are all the Max believers?

I did not watch it for a while, but last night I had an interesting conversation with a colleagues from work. We have been reminiscing about the F1 greats, from Kubica, Sena, Kimi and of course, one and only, the untouchable Michael Schumacher

I'm not sure there's ever been a less convincing and deserving WDC than this year.
Started the season so well and then did his absolute best to throw it away.
Would have preferred Piastri, but he also forgot how to drive at the end there.
 

Lando did well indeed at the start of the season. Redbull came back strong at the second half, but it was too late. They left too many points on the table. Especially like Max says himself : Barcelona.

Lets see what happens next  year.

With the season now over and the championship awarded. How long until Max becomes Lewis and falls off the cliff of dominance? Sure Max came back to make it very close at the end, but that was only because of how inconsistent he was throughout the season. Also, I realize looking at a race and saying 4th or 5th is a bad result would be the opposite reaction for almost anyone else in F1.
