It is with great pleasure that we announce The Most Rewarding MR Poker is back in business by pokular demand.

Due to inflation and the rising cost of living, we will be relying on our generous donors to establish a modest purse for the tournaments.  We have an excellent accounting department that will maintain accurate records of all donations, advising The Poker Community exactly when they are utilized, along with the donor's name, unless they wish to remain anonymous. Please submit to Ms. Rain's mailing with the exact items you are donating.

We are going to change things up a bit with tournament times to accommodate the different time zones.  If they can stay up late for your time, you can start early to accommodate theirs.

We also have an underground poker room for those evading the “blocked” police and will occasionally host tournaments there with advance notice, and the prize fund will be determined by those players.  

To place The Most Rewarding MR Poker back on the poker circuit, the badass Madoka will be hosting a Pre-Thanksgiving Day Texas Holdem Tournament, thanking all you hopeless code chasers and The Poker Community.

Feels like poker tournaments should be a weekly recurring event! Always fun to have someone out there running these every week, even when participation might be on the lower end. At this time of year I’d be expecting a lot more people than usual.

I wasn’t able to make Saturday, but keep an eye out for whenever the next date is hosted. I’ve got a hankering to lose all my money in the first round like usual…but it’s also been a hot minute since I’ve done some poker so I’m due to deal myself in eventually.

Hopefully we can continue getting more participants for this!

The Most Rewarding MR Poker hopes all those celebrating the Thanksgiving Day holiday enjoyed all the festivities.

Our goal is to keep The Poker Community informed.

Word on the street a high-stakes poker tournament is coming soon, taking place in a private poker room inside the casino, run by the mystifying razor-sharp card shark known as @SneakyPeach.

Down a quiet hallway lined with velvet wallpaper, hidden behind an unmarked panel disguised as part of the molding, waits Peach’s Room, the most exclusive, most dangerous poker den in the city.

The entrance opened only with a weighted brass coin, pressed into a nearly invisible slot. Those lucky enough to be invited through the PokerTalk lounge received instructions and knew better than to show up without it.

A single circular poker table dominated the center, hand-carved mahogany, inlaid with mother-of-pearl symbols that only old Mafiosi recognized. The chairs were deep, high-backed, padded in black leather, soft as butter. The kind of seat meant to cradle men and women who planned to sit for hours, wagering money, properties, secrets, and occasionally lives.

And then there was SneakyPeach.

Word is that she runs the room like a queen without a crown, wearing a sleek black dress, her hair pinned up with antique combs, and a smile that promises either fortune or ruin, depending on who she is looking at. Her nickname came from how she played: sweet, soft, harmless, right until she gutted you for everything you had with a hand you never saw coming.

She only had two rules. 1. No guns at the table, they stayed in the velvet-lined drawer by the door, and 2. No cheating unless you were sure she couldn’t catch you,  her security team always saw you, and the ending wasn't pleasant. 

We heard the Mafia bosses attended because they trusted her. The criminal without the right credentials is allowed to play. The high rollers come because they think they could beat her.

He has accommodated the Poker Community with a designated, plush,  poker tournament room called” Kiel Shot”. A special table has been created with blind level duration adjusted, pleasing to the poker players who wished for a shorter poker tournament.

It was honestly a very fun and competitive game up until the point where I got greedy against moose and ChickenCat. Poor CC and I both had the same hand and I thought for sure we'd split it.

Moose, out of no where, hit CC and I with a steel chair so hard it gave Aria flashbacks of a past life.

I very much appreciated the game and I had fun with all of my friends, I wish more people had come to play, but it was a hoot regardless.

It was another exciting tournament held by The Most Rewarding MR Poker for The Poker Community at Kiel Shot Poker Room.

They say he wandered the casino like a lost tourist, passing slot machines, wrong hallways, and at least two definitely not poker rooms. By the time he finally found the right door, the tournament was almost underway, and the players were wondering who the fuck this guy was they were waiting for.  Biggs AK Leon, apologized, bought in, sat down, unsure, looking more lost than dangerous.

A few hands in, the confusion began to fade. His instincts were sharp, his reads were clean, and the chips started sliding his way. By the end of the night, all the chips rolled his way as he won the tournament. It was clear he was a skilled player they had to contend with.
