Where the fuck is Ted?

Slim called for BigTed, his trusted jack of all trades Don. The man who spent as much time at the famed 12th Street Public Toilets as he spent hunting swans. He never asked what Ted did in the toilets, nor did he really care. At this moment in time, he just needed Ted to show up and answer some questions.

Moments later, Ted knocked on his office door and entered the room. With a chip buttie in one hand and a smirk on the other, he took a seat at Slim’s desk. Between bites of his lunch, he asked Slim what he required of him

Ted, how fucking long has that news stand out front been empty? The one across the street from the 12th Street Public Toilets!

Ted shrugged and threw the remainder of his sandwich in one of the bins.

No clue boss. Maybe a couple of months, but truly I don’t pay much attention to it. Want me to look into the whereabouts of the owner?

Slim shook his head no and sat in thought for a few moments. This could turn into something he said to himself.

Ted, go spread the word. I want journalist, writers, or just nosy neighbors with info to share. The six cities need a newspaper and we’re gonna fund that operation. Anyone who wants to step up and take the reigns on this operation will be paid weekly by yours truely!

Ted rose and told Slim he would head out and start making flyers to draw interest!
