If one keeps their money on hand and they know there are pick pocketers out there, there should be no surprise or "being caught of guard" if their money is stolen from them. If you drink a piping hot coffee without considering that in fact it may scold your tongue, don't cry if your tongue is burned after taking a sip.

Pick pocketing is not a new feature trend, its been around forever and ever. It may even be considered an old way. If you are loose with your money, letting it sit without security in your pocket or in the bank, you do have a way to retaliate. As you have covered Skorpeon, you mug that fucker straight back. Why would a crook steal from another crook. Wow, I just can't fathom this one. Why would a crook steal? Lets take a look at the definition of crook, also known as thief (thief! thief!): "theft is the taking of another person's property without that person's permission or consent with the intent to deprive the rightful owner of it". Its the description of the job. If a crook didn't take from others with the intent of maliciously hurting the "innocent" then they wouldn't be a crook and they wouldn't be pick pocketing. It's not uncommon to see one mobster stab the other mobster in the back, not play by the rules or claim to be honorable and completely throw that idea away. Skorpeon, I'm sure you're probably very familiar with all of the above.

You think the Mafia is a game where you run around pick pocketing like common petty thief! In this thing of ours we hold our honour and respect close to our chest and you certainly don't touch a Made Man, that is one of the first things we learn.

A lot of the leaders of today pay lip service to respect even mentioning to be respectful as part of their rules yet when it comes to punishment they say "pay them back & don't do it again". I know that every time I go to rob someone of their 5k.. or fail.. I quickly make sure to visit my local banker and deposit my money on hand (or at least most of it) because I expect to get mugged back if I failed and got caught.. I mean I know if I see someone fail me I will sure mug them back - unless a close friend, who in that case for sure I will mug them back as even more fun.

"I honestly see it as harmless fun among some groupings of people testing their skill range and trying to improve their abilities.  My pockets are generally empty so is a matter of skill not profit from me, even if cheapened to some due to new recent changes" he said as he cleared a dry bit of crust from his throat.

sometimes is simply people who want to be in your pockets, dont want you in their's, a form of hypocrisy to me, others simply are happy to try and test their skill and is fun to chase them down sometimes.  I have been beaten down through it and beaten people down so is an added risk that doesnt push the rules too far.

I generally dont mind, i honestly like to see who i see with my eyes and see who i dont so i know who i can catch also.  I think is a skill game pickpocketing so no gamble no win as pickpocketing shows.

Maybe i am kinda liberal on the subject but i am not gonna have a coronary or threaten to shoot everyone over a hand in my pocket; i generally worry though when people break rules out of personal opinions on the subject even in pp friendly cities but thats just me.

While I agree with Grizzly to a point, I have to also respectfully disagree as well. Yes what you said is true. This IS mafia. But a person or persons having earned their money, putting in hard work, does NOT want someone sticking their fingers in their pocket and taking what they did not earn.

Now, when a person does get pickpocketed, instead of fretting over it, or getting mad, just go and earn more. Money can be easily made and easily lost...especially doing what it is we ALL do.

well to answer your questions 1st of i pick-pocket for the thrill of it...and get mighty wealthy off it as i go from cities all around....but what i get out of it is nothing less than 5k...no feelings of thrill during or after the actions are done....but moreless...i bank it quick before the victims become the oppressors and take revenge..so that they get nothing....but its more of a thrill for them to have beaten me up for stealing then for me to have sto;en at all..

"Well, it is my lost. When I PP someone, there is a possibility that I will he will mug me back if I'm not careful enough with my actions. I will be lucky if I came unidentified but to be sure, my flight timer must be open or if not, I banked all my money."

"I do it for the achievement and the xp, also the skill. Usualy i only PP people i know, and I ALWAYS ask if i do not know the person.

I chase down thieves because if they do not send they money back after 5 min, it doesnt take that long to return what they got, I feel disrespected if they do no write to me or send the money back. I feel disrespected because taking my hard earned money that i could have used for a tribute is dumb. So 5000 is not that much but its still 5000. And since its MY money, i dont think my hard earned money should be in some other guys pockets. So I mug if i feel disrespected, on the other side, even if i send the money back to those i pp, its still my fault if i get mugged back as it is their pockets i pick. I dont make the rules for what other people may and may not, nope, its them. I make the rules for what i will do if people pp me, however i cant just go rampage and mug all i see, but i hope you understand what i mean.
