There might be a bug with enabling sponsors; in our crew at least, we usually are rotating hands every so days (Jezabel can assist in explaining here).

What I am suspecting of happening is if Jezabel sets someone as a sponsor, and then makes them a hand, they LOSE sponsorship abilities upon being swapped out for another hand rather than keeping the sponsor ability anyway. Seems to have been causing issues with being available to sponsor as now you have to manually set them as a sponsor again.

Assuming this isn’t intentional, I would just have it so when someone is set as a sponsor it maintains it permanently. Makes sense especially with the warning given before setting a sponsor.
