My effort levels are commensurate with what they always are when I'm actively playing. Sometimes a bit more, sometimes a little less, but I'm usually pretty consistently in the 15-30 hours a week range, which is where I've been since about this time last year. You probably already know that given your obsession with the activity levels of upper structure, and my name never being on your list, and the only real difference is I've posted more in the last few days than those preceding so I'm more visible. An easy mistake to make but I'm happy with Detroit and the activity levels of the leadership therein. I said in a post in the other thread that more can be done, and it can, so I'm not sure what it is you think I'm not accepting of. I also view this as a game and not my job, even though I care about it, so 10 hours a week is a lot to put into a hobby, as I've stated in those threads of yours previously. Reading MichaelHaller's post made me a bit sad though really, so I will talk to him and see how we can help. The auth thing is genuine. Take it at face value, or don't. None of the 5 man HQ ideas I proffered previously were "kill crews" either, but again, I'm not trying to convince you. I'm actually not really trying to convince you of anything, just to prevent a false narrative of terrible leadership with a bad mentality trying to hold people down, because it simply isn't true. This is not one group of leaders, it is multiple. None can speak for all because there is no specific agenda. It is mostly just being played and generalisations are being made because that is how things have been run in the past. I don't actually believe you're deluded enough to think the game was in a better, healthier state when you were at the top of it because outside of this performance, I know you recognise how toxic it was to play in because I have been in a similar position, nor do I think that you really think it is in a particularly poor state now. Nobody sets out to kill their own members on repeat. Nobody sets out to reward inactive and poor leaders with more leadership. Nobody sets out to have to kill their own LHM again and again. These things are products of circumstance, albeit ones you created. So I can't imagine you are proud of that tenure nor what the users endured during it. I think what actually happened is it became unmanageable and once you started routine killing, you couldn't easily stop and then it snowballed. The only difference is that Squishy didn't DD the entire regime, which made it last as long as it did until you got complacent and jaded. I think your posts are still part of your "semi-in-character" nonsense again, which makes it feel like wasted effort to engage with you as you are being disingenuous. |

First, to be clear, nothing I have said was intended as a defence of every crew leader, every upper, or every decision. I am not claiming everything is perfect, and I do not think anyone reasonable believes that. What I pushed back on was the specific framing that this is primarily a moral failure, using terms like "lazy", "shit workers", and "coasting", rather than a structural one. On the job board specifically, yes, coverage matters. Everyone agrees on that. Where we diverge is in the conclusions drawn when coverage dips. You treat it as evidence of broad apathy or incompetence. I see it as a stress indicator. It highlights that the load is concentrated, brittle, and dependent on a relatively small number of people remaining consistently active. Repeating “do your job harder” does not address the underlying conditions that cause slippage in the first place. That said, I believe the majority of people involved are actively trying to address those underlying conditions, and I want to personally acknowledge and thank them for that effort. Regarding the claim that I and Grin are making excuses for others, no. I am refusing to publicly scapegoat people to satisfy your appetite for bloodletting. Holding people accountable does not require performative purges or public shaming. That approach may feel satisfying if fear is your primary metric for leadership, but it has a well established track record of burning players out and shrinking the game. On the rule you quoted, it exists to prevent reckless internal shooting, not to grant immunity from the consequences of hostile actions. The game explicitly treats mugging as hostile. That warning is neither hidden nor new. Acting surprised when a mug can result in a kill is choosing to ignore mechanics, not exposing corruption. Kristoff is a trusted and respected member of my crew and operates with my confidence to make judgement calls in its best interests. As far as I am concerned, no rules were broken, and I am not going to discuss or justify that matter further. Finally, given your continued tendency to conflate unrelated issues in ways that suit a predetermined narrative, I am stepping away from this discussion. I do not believe your engagement here is genuinely aimed at the long term health of the game or the community, and I see no value in continuing to partake in a conversation that is not being approached in good faith by all parties involved. |

Spike how can you insinuate I'm inactive? I didn't play the first 105 days of my account, so in the last 161 days I've gotten 71 units, sent over 2,000 mails, and my average hours over the time are (23 weeks / 748 hours = 32.5 hours per week ). Have I been a little less active over the past few weeks? Yes, but it's the holidays I'm spending time with my family. Get off your high hours and go do the same man. Prowess: 440% |

Well, you were 0-10 the other week or so... But is this a joke? You literally lost your crew because of an IA hand, unless you're claiming that was on purpose? |

Yes Spike in 6 months the only time my activity has fallen below 10 hours was during Thanksgiving and the weeks leading up to Christmas, for those that know me know I've either been in the army or done military type work for the last 10 years. I spent the first Thanksgiving with my family since I was 18, it was nice. I then had to take a little time away preparing for Christmas which is also my only child birthday. Should I have put in a PTO request with you for this? Or is there no acceptable reason to take time off from our second job? And having a LH who was busy during the holidays causing me to lose my HQ, doesn't mean I'm any less active. It simply means one of my most trusted people were busy and I didn't catch it because I was also busy, I know crazy concept people being busy during the holidays. It was an honest slip up, one we've owned as no ones fault but our own, but again that has really zero baring on my activity that is what you want to target isn't it? |

Dean-Winchester just ignore Spike...guy hasn't touched grass his whole life and he's just made that he isn't part of the current regime in the game. It's pretty sad to watch honestly. |

The mad lad came all the way from New York all the way tro scouse land, he touched plenty of scouse grass. The shitbag wouldn't do karaokee with me though, so if you want to call him out for anything, its his lack of singing that should be your issue. |

Ok, let’s look back, Deanyweeny. Where did I call you out for being inactive (other than the jab about the 0-10 recently in response to you)? Yes, you were highly active. Yes, you put in many hours, and compared to many others, you even put in a lot of mails! Pats on back You injected yourself into this conversation about your activity (even though no one brought you up), and it’s easy for anyone to see, you lost your HQ for setting an IA hand. It totally happens and yeah you can come up with excuses, as people do, but your hand was IA. There are many IA hands, which has been one of my main points. Doing less than 1 hour a week is really hard to do, and it means you weren’t doing your due diligence. It’s a fuckup. There have been many 0-10 CLs and GFs too. That is a problem, no? Many of them aren’t even doing 1/10th of what you have done, and I have never questioned your Effort in terms of that. So, yeah, you are way above average compared to many others. You were not on the Shame Page, but there are many others who have been featured consistently there. This is all a detraction though from job board coverage and keeping out of rebuild mode. Help encourage the others around you to be active or something or cycle out the IA people. It shouldn’t just be lil you putting in hours, that’s how you lose an HQ, honeysweet. Mattums, thank you for your input. I believe that there are some who want to address some conditions and it’s good if they are now putting in effort, but don’t you see it was caused by a kick in the ass or warning shot? It shouldn’t have to go there to get people motivated. Kinda like if Dean didn't lose his HQ, he would've left an IA hand there carefree. And active and motivated leaders like you and Grin (and even Deanyweeny) do prop up the other IA and lazy people. I am glad you finally clarified the Kristoff issue, rather than continued the shadiness of WS requesting for it (to cover for “a Kristoff outburst” as he does). It was authorized. Got it. No rules violated, except trying to be misleading in the first place. Grinnywinx, yes, you too have also been relatively active, compared to many other current peers. It can’t be just people like you and even Dean, and Matt, and etc carrying the weight of the entire uppers. It can’t just be Drieza trying to make you all look good, as much as he tries. I disagree on your auth idea. I do stand by that it’s free labor (in order to address a problem, i.e. job coverage and PR). That is exactly the right thing to do in your situation, that said I think it’s desperate. We’ll see how it goes. As for whether the game is in a healthier state or not, I’d say it’s more of the same really, with some more absent uppers, and the same people playing victim but this time in bold suits. As for why we lasted longer than you have, or the Numbers People though, a big reason is that our MO was never to break rules or try to target/kill the game or fuck with staff or some sort of revenge thing. We would hunt those people, much of that routine killing you mentioned. It'll take you and the few active bois in your collective to sort out your shit and motivate others where they are lacking instead of pulling their weight too. P.S. Pole, I wasn’t trashed enough to do Karaoke. That was an odd crowd of crones at that pub. We could have done more pints though. I'm a traveler! |

Well thank you for performing a complete 180 and now recognising that I am indeed active and motivated. Anyway, rebuild remains off. 98.71% job coverage during preceding 336 hours, 178 available crew spaces spread across every city, open auth offers for anyone willing, free movement of associates. What is it you're complaining about exactly? |

No rules were being broken as we heard as much in main when many were asking why you guys got away with all you did. I started the data wanted thread after that convo in main. You guys did kill the game to the point where it looked to be no return. With a few saying it is over. Changes were kicking in and one of those changes I initiated. You know the one where you were tracking people when they created a new character. The last time active on the dead renewed itself when they created a new character. So that threw a wrench your way. Also I am in the know about the goals to be achieved before you guys stopped killing off the game. Don't challenge me on that again. A small group was dictating who to purge. To me that is very sad and selfish. And before I go as soon as Izzy wants to initiate change for the betterment of all there is way to much resistance. Get the fuck out the way if you cannot where the pants. |

None of that was relevant in terms of tracking anyone... and no change implemented particularly threw a wrench in anything, but hey if you want to take credit for something, OK, but that's news to me. We did hunt enemies. We did bloodline. But the methods used were all pretty simple and things that anybody could do (not what you described though), and most times were word of mouth reports/leaks. But sure, if someone dies, and someone else signs up shortly after, that's sometimes a signal, that possibly, probably, it's the same person... But that has nothing to do with a last active time thing; that's more indirect. As much as you say there was no return or things were over, it was always possible to take over, and there were numerous attempts at coups. Some flopped before they went off, and others that actually went off got pretty close but ultimately failed... Of course, finally, it happened. We had very few goals... The main one was to last until 2 yearsish. The second was to reset everything to give everyone a fighting chance and fresh start, but that was called off in late June for several reasons (and we died and lost control in early July)... Where the pants!?! WHERE THEY BE Drieza has pants. He wears pants, but I don't know where they be. You are not in the know on much, never have been, and most people know this from your paranoid rants, misinterpretations and bizarre presumptions, and warped lens of things at times and unexplained/nonsensical outbursts.
But what does that have to do with job board coverage and rebuild? Nothing.
GOOD JOB LITTLESIS GETTING PEOPLE MOTIVATED! |
