She steps out of her warehouse to a crowd of waiting people patting her on the back and the occasional way to go ass slap. Thank you, everyone for your well wishing.. I would like to take this time to publicly congratulate Alessia on her achieving the rank of Don. She has worked hard and put her blood, sweat, and tears into it. When the promotion came through I was able to congratulate her in person and in private. But it is time I do it publicly too. We have had a busy few days and are happy to look upon our world and see a bit of banter come back to the Streets. It's nice to see life out there and not just people wandering aimlessly with nothing to do. We've moved our captains to their own cities, honestly Vienna's bra and dagger collection will be missed. Alessia, my family has watched yours grow through the years, yes back that famed "incident" when Joey rattled your bones back in Cacciatoressa's day. It's with great happiness that I can stand here and say... Congratulations on the rank of Don Alessia. Your hard work and dedication have been worth it. I cannot wait to continue to work with you and the other leaders to bring the cities out of the slumps and back to a buzzing beehive of activity. Her guard whispers something in her ear and she nods quickly. I hate to keep this so short but Angelo has just informed me of a fire in one of our bakeries so I must run. Great job Alessia and thank you to everyone that has wished my family and myself well. Oh, and Ali Babba... Like fuck that cookie is yours. She continues to smile and shake hands as she gets into her car and buzzes off to tend to business. |

Well done to the two of you fine ladies, it is not an easy journey but you two managed it, utmost respect for putting in that much work and I'm glad to see it paying off. Iris dear, we should totally have a tax free day to celebrate. :D *Smiles widely* |

Congratulations, Don Iris and Don Alessia. It is beautiful to see such progress being made in this thing of ours. Perhaps some day we can have a Don in every city, running business as it should be ran, just like the old days. Both of you have worked very hard to reach these accomplishments. I've read in my ancestors' journals of that 'incident' back in the McBean days. She looks up in thought, as if scanning the skies like a diary page. Though most of the incidents that came out of that office were illegal in 36 states and highly immoral. Congratulations Iris on your promotion, and for everything you've achieved in Philly and beyond. Its nice to see these streets graced with a great leader possessing both an iron will, and gentle hands. Be a bit rougher though next time when you're stealing my unmentionables. I'm not above a little 'love tapping'. |

It is great to see more than one Don around again. Iris, many congrats on your promotion. You and your family have worked very hard and it is a well deserved honor. I've already congratulated my boss personally, but it would be nice to do it publicly as well. The city of Chicago has been through many things since you have taken it over, but with your leadership, we've stuck it out through the rough times and continue to prosper. That is an ode to you and shows that this is an honor that has been earned. Congrats again, boss. |

Alessia chases after Iris as she speeds away, a bit embarrassed at being so late but the dang crowds outside Iris' HQ made it impossible for her to get up to the woman. As she got out of her car to walk to the bakery she had seen Iris disappear into, she could be heard muttering about that woman....good speeches.....attract too many...... Finally reaching the door of the bakery, just to find it locked she knocks and tries to get someone's attention but they all disappeared into a back room. Sighing, she take out a notepad and writes a letter to slip under the door Iris, I am honored to hear your congratulations and be reminded of our ancestral connections It is an added pleasure in reaching the rank of Don to have you do so the same day. I look forward to working with you for a long time and hope our relationship grows along with our cities Sincerely, Alessia As she slips it under the door, Alessia turns to walk away and spies a chocolate marbled cheesecake with Kahlua sauce in the window. Suddenly feeling the need to wipe her chin, she sighs and gets back into her car |

Congrats...And as you now know the fire in the bakery was a diversion for your surprise party. It was great having the smoke machines pumping smoke out of the windows (soundwarnings idea :) ) as you drove up and rushed into what you thought was a burning building to save all that could be saved. When you came through the secondary doors the look of surprise on your face has given me smiles for days. I am glad you had a great time. I look forward to your next fire...hee hee hee. |
