Firstly, I want to say a big phat thank you to my boss dixxion, littlesi and oblivion(my former boss). As they allowed me to start my own crew. Uhh yeah, so the main reason i made this post is to acknowledge every crew leader that has not only allowed me to start up but also help out, also I just wish for advice from experienced crew leaders as they know what challenges awaits me in the future with the crew. And am not saying others that are no leaders aren't allowed to share their imminent thoughts as they may appear useful for when I start. I know mistakes are inevitable. It's the purpose of this post to minimize imminent mistakes That's all thank you to everyone that reads this post and share their advice. Bye 👋 shazam |

Send a message to others before setting up this time. Be loyal to your family. Always. Family first. Don't start any shit with LittleSi in the streets, he will destroy all you hold dear. Be disrespectful to Matt, always. Get used to being Mugged. Participate in events, as a family. Ask for advice if needed. Build a community with your family. Engage. Have fun. |

Have you considered all that goes into setting up? Do you have reliable hands to help run the crew? Have you consider coverage so you don’t miss sponsors? Do you have the funds for your HQ, forts, ect? There are a lot of things to consider when wanting to actually become a crew leader. |

Always remember respect. Alot of how events turn out start with respect. Find yourself a mentor. If this is your first family, don't be hard on yourself you are bound to make mistakes. Having a mentor can help limit some of those mistakes as when you're not sure you can reach out before to minimize errors. Make sure that those you surround yourself with are people that are trustworthy. Remember your rhm and lhm are people you are vouching for to run your family when outer business needs you, their decision such as your own have an impact on your family and their lives.
You will need to establish rules that you require your members to follow and be ready to dish out the appropriate consequences when necessary.
Make sure at the end of the day this is what you really want to do. If your given the blessing of setting up people are trusting you.
Lastly enjoy it, every moment, decision and mistake are an opportunity to learn. Every time your family returns to these shores is a chance to start anew with the journals and memories of your past kin.

Don't be afraid to reach out to other leaders, establishing and maintaining solid connecting and friendships is the only way to last around here. Look at every leader and the one thing you'll see we all have in common is not one of us is doing it alone, we are leaning on our cities and the other leadership within the game for support, guidance, and camaraderie. One other major mistake many people make is they become a leader and turn into a hermit out of fear of messing things up, most of the community would rather see you try, fail, get back up, and try again. Then to take the mantle and do nothing with it. I wish you and any other person who'd like to join Detroit nothing but the best. P.S. Don't trust BigEasy and for sure don't hug him, he's smelly and he lies. |
