| Will We Have Another Great Leader? | Started by: Santino_Collinoso on Jul 21, '08 18:43 |

The stacks a couple of crates on each other and steps on them Do i really need to make a enticing and compelling entrance? Their getting old and i would rather get to the point. I was told at a young age the world sleeps for no man nor beast and that if you want something go get it or forever try to conquer it. The expression "jack of all trade master of none" may be used to describe some of these half witted fellows trying to gain their suit. Have the expectation's really dropped since the Golden Age of Anita and her mighty city. You may not have liked her but you have to admire and respect her. In the history she could be comparable to Ghengis khan. I remember she had formidable opponents but the single difference between her and them was her famiglia, they were dare i say it handpicked or bread into great-ness, they say the pen is deadlier than the sword but damn the pens must of been sharp. They were a tight nit family which made them special. My question is will we ever see a family like that again? With Made men who earned their right to be given their suit. A family which were un-predictable and that's what made them so dangerous. A family were almost every member can give a heart breaking speech. Yes you will say the only reason they won the wars was because their guns are good but that's how wars are won! I think everyone can accept if you're a businessman or a Mafioso you wanted to be in that family. They had greats of the game. They made history. They made the streets actually something with competitions. This is not a how great was that family but will they be a family like them with the same attributes who will shake this world? Right Hand man No don't get me wrong Anita was a great leader but she had a great Right hand man. From what i seen from the public view their relationship was great they worked together. Will we ever see a partnership like this again? They knew the goal and they both knew how to get it. It may be Anita's name we remember but if it was not for her Right hand man she would not have got to where she got. Family From what i remember her headquater's was never full and she rarly invited people to her family. The people she did invite though had great attributes and she could turn them into something great. I mean just look at Salea* he was cocky and brass in the streets threating people and just being a jerk. Anita launches a project and 2 months later he was named a Leader but in those 2 months he had changed im guessing it was her just showing him the ropes. Maybe if she didn't train him it was her influence on him. Her family was great my father spoke to several of them and they told him the family was close and tight. I never knew how she got this. Maybe a leader of the future can figure out the secret. Ideas Her family had great idea's. Apparently she would run the idea's across with her Right hand man before they were published and all the top member's were involved. I mean her giving a young brass leader a chance to lead and earn money for it was a stroke of genius. Also her competitions on the street were amazing. I hope we can see more on the streets from these great leaders we now have! Street and bar Scene I have already mentioned about her street competitions but every single constructive speech came from her members. My dad told me a story they had to negotiate so he could have his bar in family and she said i judge leaders by their bar scene so i only want the best. This is what a leader should be like caring about the bar and street presence. I do believe from hearing speeches from the streets we will have great leaders to come but on the magnitude of Anita im not sure. It sure is possible and i shore do hope so. My father never got the privilege to be in her Familgia so hopefully i get the privilege to be in great leaders like Anita family. I think we could see some great originality in the future and some great leadership. I just hope the progression of leadership keeps improving. Right now we have great leaders which hopefully in the future i can compare to Anita and Lexi! What are your thoughts? Do you reckon we will see another leader like Anita? Mr Collinoso! |

Rubiki steps up to Santino as he steps down from his crates. He fixes his tie and removes his hat Very nice speech, sir. I think I'll add my own two cents. First, I'd like to say that I hope that the origin of this speech is not due only to the rank Anita achieved, and that the reasoning you gave sprung from that. In my opinion, it should be the other way around. The reason she achieved her rank was because of her family. Now, my blood line goes back to the peak of the reign that Anita held. I was not fortunate enough to see her rise from rags to riches, if you will. And I could only imagine that my forefather was scared out of his wits to see such power before him. But from the stories that have been passed down, I can tell you that she did indeed have both fear and respect. I never thought both were possible; but I'll go out on a limb and say that in Anita's case; it was. But, allow me to play Devil's Advocate here real quick. Do you think that some of the things she accomplished could be accomplished by our leaders now? For example, to enforce something such as a street contest or our business district, you would have to have power; instill fear in the hearts of others at the mere mention of your name; and have the respect of your fellow leaders to the point where they may take a bullet for you because they know you are the white knight of organized crime. Do you believe our community has that right now? |

She smiles and begins to speak. You made a few good points sir but I have a few of my own to make, as well as a question or two.. 1) Every leader has in them the ability to succeed in varying degrees and areas. No all leaders are good at everything. They depends on their family and crewmembers for that. 2) One person does not make a leader, it takes many people backing them up. It's a team effort. 3) Is it really fair to compare this day and age, THESE leaders, and these Streets to a time that is long gone that had different circumstances and personalities in charge? 4) Who are you to judge a family that you know nothing about and are not a member of? 5) Crews and families are different... 6) Her family was around for months and wasn't always the beacon of perfection that you describe it as. It had to grow and come together, balancing strengths and weaknesses. It's not a just add water and leave overnight deal. All in all, Anita was a great leader, she had a great family... But quit comparing everyone else to her. She wasn't the first great leader and she will not be the last. I will always respect her memory for the things that she did for this world but don't you think it's time to let go of the past and move on? No, there will never be another family exactly like hers. There may not ever be one even close.. But there may be one or two more that are better in the areas her and her family were unable to master. Only time will tell but please, do the other leaders and myself the favour of giving us a chance to paint our own picture rather than live in the shadow of another. |

Alessia listens to Iris, slowly smoking and tapping her fingers looking at the man who made the original speech Well sir, I believe Iris has summed it up well. But I would also like to point out the many changes in the world itself since Anita's days and that we all, the current leaders, have been in place a very short time - so, I'd be interested in seeing this speech again and how your opinion might change given a few months. |

I agree a lot with what Miss Iris has said. Anita may have won many battles and kept her family in power for a long time, but the only reason why she was able to do that was because of her members. After each war, they were willing to start from zero again, work hard to maintain the overall position of power the family had gained together. In the moments that Anita's family was more active be it in streets, bars or making competitions, it was all one big family effort. Anita was not able to do those things on her own. I believe nowadays we have leaders that do captivate the true sense of loyalty in their members and if we want to have a great family, the work should start by us, members. Be it by creating competitions or enrolling in new business. I'm sure that the leaders would give all the support needed for their members to launch business, competitions or new projects, but the effort must come from us as well. After reading your speech, I asked myself if I was doing everything I possible could to bring a bit more of excitement into this life and also contribute more with the family. The true answer is no. I could be doing much more. Perhaps there are more people out there that could also be doing more and helping their family grow tight, after all we are business men and women who are supposed to be working hard for our families. |
