I'll kick it off: I was looking for a name that would fit a mysterious, slightly dark and maybe a little creepy late night female radio host. "Vesper" means "evening star" or "evening whisper," and Valentine just worked for alliteration. So, the name came from the character concept in this case. :)

Hi, my real name is Mathew. Yes, with one t.

I added the extra T socially because “Mat” felt less like a name and more like something people wipe their emotional baggage on, I have boundaries.

So I go by Matt, with an added a T for dignity. 

I always liked music. Played piano since I was 7 or 8 (not terribly good now), and I grew up listening to music written in the pre-lightbulb era (aka classical, renaissance, baroque, romantic). I was also a fan of the old classical fictions like the Wizard of Oz and Peter Pan. Having misremembered Captain Hook's name as Jazz Hook, I thought that would be a cool name for myself, that coupled with my love for music (I don't play jazz music btw), decided to make my username JazzRider, as I imagined I would tame jazz music like a mythical mount and ride it around the world, spreading my music. I learned some years later that "riding" had some very crass connotations, so I shortened my name to simply "Jazz".

No real story to mine - I started on Christmas day. The name choice seemed logical.

It is a very convoluted connection from where I started with names to where I ended. The bottom line is that Tussy was both more pleasant, easier, shorter, and for me still invoked the original. 

In many moons past I played Unreal Tournament 3 Arena at a reasonable level. During this time I was more popular with online ladies that I am this day due to my vociferous and seductive tones in the microphone. I became The Ultimate Seduction (looking back incredibly cringeworthy but at the time as a youngish teenager felt very cool about myself).

This over time became TUS, then progressed to Tussy.

Just wanted something basic and timeless. Everybody loves a pair of shoes.

I just liked it so I used it. I didn't put a lot of thought into it honestly.
