Shandie drags her soapbox by one hand down the street with it clattering and rumbling among the cobblestone and dirt

she reaches a semi popular corner and hauls the soapbox up in her arms to place it down with great stability onto the perfect area to climb atop

she begins to speak her first words coming out in a grumbly mumble almost

"Why was I here again?"

her words begin to come to her as she takes a swig of the grain alcohol she brought with her

"Oh yes thats it!, its days like today and mornings like we had today that remind me of how quickly things can become unsettling with people running amuck banging on headquarters tearing down and thrashing property, shooting at people randomly who walk by them in the streets and even shooting into the homes in which they sleep soundly.

were it not for the leadership of both Godfathers we have here in Philadelphia I dont believe the residents would have been so calm and collected to see these ruffians trouncing around making all this noise.

with Matt and Kristoff at the helm the people had faces they could put names to when they felt unsafe or needed some repairs done around the city.

Matt being such a well established Godfather that he secured the title of Chairman and Kristoff fresh into his new role of Godfather. together they worked hand in hand to coordinate with the other cities to put an end to the shennanigans that seemed to pop up nationwide almost in an instant."

shandie takes another mouthful of her grain alcohol to keep her whistle wet

"while I can only speak for how I felt in the city of Philadelphia I'm sure others felt just as secure amongst the cities they call home with BuddyBigPaw, Dixxon, Drieza and @Gnesis holding firm in the role of Godfathers alike.

while not every city has those in the role of Godfather I know the residents of those cities also felt secure in the present leadership with BellaBrusca, Jeffrey_Lebowski and Skatterbrain present.

now we must all focus our efforts on the thousands of others currently present lead by their Godfather TylerDurden. every once in a while he wrangles up the best he can find and disburse's them among the nation but they fall only to rise again.

so join me in thanking those leader who help keep a roof over our heads and our best interests at heart"

shandie raises her bottle in the air making a weird yet seemingly rallysome noise in hopes to garner more attention and praise for those she spoke of

Shandie, I must admit I’m a little confused. I’ve read this speech twice now and I’m still trying to figure out who this “Matt” character is that you’re referring to. Chairman? Established Godfather? Coordinating nationwide efforts? Sounds like a busy fellow. I hope he’s getting paid overtime for all that.

But I do appreciate the sentiment behind it. It’s easy to focus on the chaos when ruffians start rattling cages and making noise. It’s harder to acknowledge the effort that goes into keeping the foundations steady. So I’ll raise a glass alongside you to everyone who puts in the work to keep the streets standing.

Somewhere in the crowd, there is Minaxi holding a half eaten pretzel, she squints up at Shandie...

“Ma’am… respectfully… I just came out for milk. However, Shandie, you absolute force of nature. You dragged a whole soapbox down cobblestones like you were delivering a sermon and a furniture shipment at the same time but we hear you. It’s been chaos, noise, bullets, and madness. Steady leadership matters which enables folk to sleep easier. 

Minaxi raises her pretzel "To stability, everyone working together to maintain structure, and Matt the Godfather Chairman who pretends to know what he's doing"

"Thank you Shandie for the lovely speech. That is one tall soapbox you brought with you!"

Kristoff takes out a pouch, reaches in and takes a pinch of tobacco and tucks it in his cheek.

"We do not need more rebuild, like Minaxi said, what we need is stability. I believe that now that all six cities are established again we are well on our way to that. I look forward to brighter days, days where our headquarters were not subject to constant firebombing from thugs and gangsters knew their place."

He takes a bite of Minaxi's pretzel and raises a glass.

"To a better tomorrow."

shandie steps down from atop her soapbox and almost faceplants while taking a swig of her alcohol

"i wasnt aware this was an abnormal height, they told me it was average size. but the retailer was a male so im not sure how accurate his words were

now where in the hell can i get one of those pretzels? i dont feel like taking someone elses like Kristoff. And Matt we cant have you living without blushing a little."

as shandie flips her soapbox over on its side she takes a seat and yells at a passerby who looks very unfamiliar

"oy can you get me a pretzel and refill my drink? i got a $100 bill in it for ya"

"I'm actually more shocked that he downplayed the size of it Shandie"

Kristoff pulls out his flask and tops up his whiskey glass. "The good stuff. Anyone else want a snort? It's good for what ails ya."

"I will say I am impressed that there hasn't been need for a rebuild around these parts in some time. Perhaps your speech made some waves, lit some fires, booted some asses into gear. Who knows. I sure like how things are trending though!"

He take another bite of Minaxi's pretzel. "How do I keep getting away with this?" He wonders to himself confused as hell.

"How do I keep getting away with this?"

Because when you reached for the pretzel, I positioned myself between yourself and Minaxi so that she couldn’t see you take a bite from it. Same with the other times as well.

Helping lines up some shot glasses for Godfather Kristoff to make pouring the shots easier for him

Pours a shot for Helping and several more for anyone who wants one.

"I appreciate the clutch block good sir. She will never suspect a thing, surely."

As Minaxi tries to look around and past Helping, Kristoff sneak around the other side of him.

shandie hears the sound of liquid being poured and handed out and perks up off of the soapbox

"can you top me off? i seem to have emptied my own container and this soapbox is not as comfortable when your starting to sober up"

shandie swirls around what is left in her bottle while reaching out with a semi smile/smirk on her face that almost confuses people

"my grandpapi always said 'Stop fucking calling me grandpapi' but i never listened so he would give me a swig of his 'be quiet' juice. ah memories. people always said he had a problem but......wait im rambling again arent I?"
