GAME EVENT: The Tournament of DuelBots Version 2 Started by: Madoka on Feb 22, '26 20:25

For the previous event please see: https://mafiareturns.com/comm/thread/2376982#3552373140

Hello all, Now that I am free of my TCG competitive season I now have a bit more free time to do a big event. So here it is the second tourney of duelbots.

Keeping the general idea of version 1 but adding some changes to payouts and entries. Please see below for full details.

Prizing.  As you are allowed to enter multiple bots this was my biggest pain of the last tourney. Paying out 280 entries was not it but I loved allowing people to have more then 1 bot. So this time around ONLY THE TOP 10% OF BOTS WILL BE GETTING REWARDS

Betting: Will continue, but will be capped on max amount per person per day. This almost blew the whole event budget last time and I would like to avoid having to panic math at the end. The cap 1 better can win in a day will be 10 credits.

Entries:  So many of you recommended me to cap/limit the number of entries. But im a little bit insane, and honestly im down to let the prize pool get huge so we are actually going to up things a bit this time. Please see the table below

Number of Bots - Cost for That Bot - Total Cost

1 - Free - Free

2 - 2 - 2

3 - 3 - 5

4 - 5 - 10

5 - 15 - 25

6 - 25 - 50

7 - 50 - 100

8 - 150 - 250

All credits used to buy bots will be added to the total pool of Betting and final prizing. If enough credits come in from extra bots the betting limit may be expanded.
