An old, yet spry man walks out of the street and through the crowd. He is twirling his gun on his finger, not caring who it aims at. He walks through the parted masses, jumping up on top of the soapbox. My friends.... I have asked you all here for one reason, my resignation. As some of you may have noticed, I have no been around much. I have been asleep, having dreams, dreams I cannot control. I have found myself sleeping more and more. I cannot help in, nor fight it. So... all that being said, I am giving up my position as Godfather of New Orleans. The current leaders may do what they like with it, but I know I am not ment to be its valiant leader. To my family: I am sorry I have failed you, I have not been the leader that I could have been, nor the one you deserved. You all mean the world to me. To Iris: Thank you for being my friend through all of this, your kindness will not be forgotten if/when my kin decide to return. To Alessia: Sick of the lies and bullshit huh? You won't have to deal with it anymore, I just hope someone puts a bullet in your head before you do get you're chance to take over. CP anyone? Well, I have kept your attention to long already... Skulls. I don't know what to say. You were the best leader I've worked under, and I bet that my forefathers would say the same. I had a high respect for you, and I still so. I don't exactly condone going out with a bang, so to speak, but at the same I understand it. I wish you the very best of luck. You keep your ass safe, and I mean that on every level. |

I dont know you Mr Skulls but personally I dont agree with your actions here. If you are leaving these shores then you have the opportunity to retire or let your captain take the step up and carry on the work you started and look after your family members. You say you have let your family down and they mean the world to you yet by starting a war and then leaving it you have left your people to be slaughtered. Im wondering if you have let your obvious disagreements with Alessia cloud your judgement or if you did think about the family but decided to go with it anyways. Either way you had your reasons for starting this war, just in my opinion there is a lot of unnecessary deaths happening. But you are doing what you think is right and that is all it comes down to at the end of the day. |

If he were doing what he felt was right, I might have some respect for his decision. The fact is, he is not doing anything at all. Taking a couple pot shots and then going to bed isn't hardly taking a stand for something you believe in. What happened here was just disgraceful. If you feel you want to implement some sort of change as your final act as a Boss, then do it. Don't make a half-assed effort and then abandon your family to die. This is one of the sorriest acts by a Boss I have ever seen. |

What a sorry ass lame excuse! Thanks a bunch Skulls, my father devoted his life to you and as a consequence of your stupid actions he lies dead in a gutter. He spent well over a month, working his ass off donating millions of dollars, achieving his highest rank of made man and what do you do?! Lame man, lame. If only my father would have woken 40 minutes earlier he would still be here now. Im quite frankly disgusted, could you not have mass mailed the crew last night to find new homes? I even spoke you briefly - first mail you'd responded to in weeks! I was doing such a good job as an incog too! Whoops, that slipped out. BooeyCP. |

I must say this act is beyond disgraceful, starting a war when you know that you will only get a shot or two off is quite wrong. You have let your family down and shown the world that you care nothing for anyone. Not even a Sith like myself would ever do something like this. If i was gonna go out with a bang i would make sure it was on a day that i could be on as much as possible. |

I'm confused Frankie_Corleone. You are talking about Mr Skulls going away to Iraq but unless the dead rise up and start walking, I cant see him going anywhere soon due to his death earlier on today. Also it may not matter to him if he died or not, but it did matter to his family. Lots of whom were killed unnecessarily and without any word or warning that there boss was even going to war. Once again, I stand by my opinion that his words saying he cared for his family were hollow and this was a rash selfish decision that was not through. |
