so sorry to hear that. I hate that feeling when you have a decent amount of time off work and it goes by so fast. Then you get back to work and the work day goes slowly... |

On the plus side there are some bank holidays coming up, so not too long to wait for a 4-day weekend. So at least that is something to look forward to! |

Love them. We all should have more of them I think it makes everyone more productive on the 4 days that they do work and it gives you a great break from work also. |

As we are now entering a 4 day weekend, a 3 day weekend doesn't seem so good. Originally workers had just Sunday off; then i think it was extended to Saturday afternoon (hence why UK fotball matches all used to start at 3pm on a Saturday) and then extended to the whole weekend. There needs to be some payback to the workers from the implementation of AI etc, and not just ensuring that all returns from capital go to the tech bros, with machines owned by them doing everything and leaving the workers on their way to destitution. A 3 day weekend sounds like a good start in that direction. |

Feels like it never even happened. We're meant to get another one next week here but I have to work which feels illegal. 5 days is so many too many days to work in a row. |

Its a bank holiday weekend weekend here this weekend, but unfortunately i have to work on Monday, so, just a regular old 2 day weekend for me. but i suppose there will be less traffic on the roads, so every cloud has a sliver lining. |

Three day weekend coming back. Is the idea of it that we can go out and protest against the system and generally wish for anarchy? Well if it means a day off work, then…down with unnecessary meetings, alarm clocks and beige offices! |

A three day weekend just means I have another day without income (self employed) and increased time to do all the jobs I put off as there's plenty of people in my household that could do them.... |

And another three day weekend draws to a close. It was fun. Working isn’t quite as much fun. The next one is at the end of May. Hopefully it should be a bit warmer then. |

Three day weekend would have been four days if not for that stupid law about which days are which, sheesh... Alas, rested, had fun, did nothing in particular |

This three-day weekend gave me something I didn’t realize I needed — time to slow down, reset, and appreciate the little things. Between catching up on rest, spending time with people who matter, and simply enjoying moments without rushing, it reminded me how important balance really is. Sometimes we get so caught up in responsibilities, deadlines, and everyday stress that we forget to pause and enjoy life as it’s happening. This weekend wasn’t about doing anything extraordinary; it was about recharging mentally, emotionally, and physically. Whether it was relaxing at home, going out for a bit, laughing with friends or family, or just taking a quiet moment for myself, every part of it felt meaningful. Now heading into a new week feeling more grounded, refreshed, and grateful for the time to breathe. Hope everyone had a safe and enjoyable weekend too. |
