The Blue Pin continued to bustle and hum through the weeks. Sam kept to his post at the shoe counter, an opportune place to pass messages, assign lanes, and overall keep an eye on the place. During a quick scan he notices The Dude emerge from his office, cardigan drooping, slippers sliding, and drink brimming like his smile. El Duderino shuffles his way to the counter, placing his white russian next to the lane list before beginning.

"Looking good out here, man. Good turn out for... Frank's 53rd birthday, aw man that's today?" Between the Rag, the Rug, and the Rub and Tug in Detroit, The days all seemed to blend together for The Dude.

"Who doesn't love Frank? Straight shooter and a damn fine roller." Sam had taken the time to get to know all the regulars in the Alley, the faces coming through told the story of the streets without a word. 
 

"That reminds me, I got something for you to sign" The Dude takes a sip, the milky cocktail leaving it's trace on his moustache before continuing. "For like.. 'Insurance Purposes" a smirk curling slightly in the corner of his lip.

Without much of a thought Sam scrawls his name on the paper, figuring it was another order of hallowed balls making their way through town stuffed to the brim with the good stuff.

"Groovy man, you're now the proud owner of the factory across the street. It's yours to do with as you please. Long as you're not blasting the Eagles at all hours of the night, it should be a pretty gravy gig."

Sam Blinks for a moment, not understanding at first, then reading the paper. "Transfer of ownership, a place of my own?... I don't know what to say other than thank you."

"Don't say anything. Roll on brother." With that The Dude shuffles back to wish Frank a happy birthday and get back to business as usual.
