The night was misty and unusually dark. A cry could be heard from the bedroom of a small house near the outskirts of the city. A baby was being born.

Somehow, this child knows all the wrongs done to his father and all the people who have done them. He cannot even talk yet, but in his mind, he is planting the seeds of revenge.

Years pass. The child sees his father get caught up in a bloody and brutal war and get killed. Just for being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Now as an adult, he tries to forget the memories of the past and make new ones of his own. But his fathers death, and all the memories he inherited as a baby, are consuming him.

Alone at home now, he prays to God to save him from these memories. Instead he hears a voice.

"God cannot help you now. But I can. I can give you the power to get vengance on those who have wronged your father."

"Who are you? Show yourself."

"In time. In time. First I want to hear it from you. DO YOU WANT YOUR REVENGE?!?"

"Yes."

"Then know child, that I am the darkness. I am the ONLY one who can help you get what you desire.......and you are now my Reaper. Send these people to the realm of shadows. And in return, I can give you....life. Real life. Life as it was meant to be lived."

The transformation was complete. A new evil had been unleashed on the city.
