Again, we are looking to do an MR meet in the Poconos once again this year. The plan is for it to happen in early-mid November. There is a limited headcount based on rooms/beds, so please reply sooner than later so that you can be accommodated. We will be looking to make an initial deposit on the house sometime during the summer.

This announcement is much earlier than last year because we are hoping to have a much larger turnout with lower travel costs, and to prevent any logistic/scheduling issues. We hope to have more non-Americans! We can make accommodations regarding airport pickup etc.

You can expect fine dining, Risk, everclear, and friendly people! There are a lot of cool places to visit in the area… Last year we found a roller rink that was caught in a time warp, circa 1988. But additionally, there’s a large casino nearby, bowling alleys, gun ranges, an indoor water park, and so on.

This would be epic! Often heard about the MR meet up's and would love to one day attend one for myself. Being UK based, its difficult but I hope to one day have the funds to get over to the states and meet some of you bad ass people! 

Will Airlines have fuel in November?

As a full time nerd / oil baron IRL @ProertyManager raises a valid point. We will have a systemic jet fuel shortage for the EU if stable passage through the strait doesn't resume by end of April. Jet fuel prices have hit an all-time high of $1,838 per tonne, more than double what they were earlier this year. First thing I did when all this kicked off was book a holiday as I knew prices would go to the moon. 

We already have had panic buying on motor fuel in the UK & are planning in terms of 'when' there is a supply shortage rather than 'if' I don't think people in Europe are worried enough about this situation tbh.

Always wanted to attend, Master Spike. I have never been able to but do love the photos you but all share. Looking forward to hearing how it all goes this year.

I would sign up but I'm going home for Christmas so... You'll all have to wait another decade to see me again.
