RIP South Philly: Life and Times of an Artist vol 5 Started by: Artist on Apr 20, '26 00:09

Artist stood at what was formally known as The Vercetti Crime Family mansion. The news reported that shots rang out last night throughout South Philly within a seven minute span, killing nine members of the Vercetti Crime Family. The only reason Artist stood alive was because he was so new in the city no one knew where he lived. Many came to pay their respects, but only less than two left an explanation. I mean, as an Earner and not an avid coffee shop VIP member, why would Artist expect a thorough explanation? The only thing Artist could worry about now was his life, and whether or not he would be alive several weeks from now. Who could he trust? Who did he know? Would he be able to go to a city and not be just another body on the count? The questions were many and the answers were few. There was only one thing to do and that was to do what he knew best.

Artist left his South Philly condo at 3:03 a.m. Head on maximum swivel. Even though Artist had no reason to worry, as he did nothing wrong like the other members of South Philly, you just never knew in this thing of ours. He entered the fancy cab that would be taking him to his private jet. Upon arrival the jet was already there. The stairs were ready to be climbed and a blonde cougar was waiting for Artist with a bottle of whiskey in one hand, and his smoker's jacket in the other. As Artist sat on one of fifteen seats in the private jet, he sat back and sighed. He sighed because the blonde hair cougar had a way with both her hands and mouth, yes, but he truly sighed because the next two days would be a busy one. In this thing of ours you weren't safe without friends or protection. In fact, you weren't safe even with friends of protection. He knew he needed to pledge alliance to someone, but he didn't want to pledge alliance to just anyone. Thus was the problem at hand for Artist. As the blonde hair cougar continued to make Artist's eyes roll back, he thought to himself that he'd cross that bridge when it got there.

Sarto walked through the streets of South Philly. It felt quiet and there was a sad and empty atmosphere.

"Damn. It all feels so dead and quiet now. I wonder where Tommy is? I haven't seen him in a while.." He said to himself.

Sarto had no knowledge about the massive slaughter that had found place, so he simply wandered through the streets wondering what had occurred.
